"Wanted to fix the problem caused by large Pine and Magnolia Tree leaves continually clogging gutters causing periodic water damage. Decided to install good quality Gutter Guards and fix the current water damage.
Al kept me informed at least a day in advance of his schedule and arrived when promised which I appreciated.
Below are some of the task I watch Al and his brother do and was very happy with the quality I saw.
Gutter Guards
Pressure washer cleaned gutter, downspouts, and surrounding area.
Removed gutters and installed metal protection on fascia board where needed
Adjusted gutter angle to make sure water drained correctly on all sides
Installed and screwed in Guards on all the Gutters to keep in place
Added Metal End caps to prevent squirrels and bird access to gutters.
Corrected a Gutter Problem that caused leaves and debris to collect and build up at one section of the roof allowing water to
flow over sides.

Removed Rotting wood at base and along sides
Installed new wood along sides and Vinyl Composite
Simulated Lumber at the base for water resistance.
Caulked all access points around the frame.

Today is 1-July-2014 and three storms have come through since installation and I have seen none of the problems I had before the guards were installed. Normally I would be cleaning out the clogged down spouts!!

My entire kitchen was gutted with new dry wall, floors and cabinets installed. My old sliding glass door was even Fixed during the remodel which was not included. My Bathroom took a bit longer due to an unexpected obstruction within the downstairs bathroom. They also discovered my bathroom floor had rotted away and installed new boards to replace before installing. The job took a few more weeks due to the unexpected issues, but they worked expeditiously to remove and replace with all new dry wall, floor boards and turned a small tub bathroom with plaster walls into an updated walk in shower with new walls, floor, shower and sink. It turned out beautiful and i was very happy with results of kitchen and bath. "My wife and I own a home that was built in 1898. When we were soliciting bids for a LONG OVERDUE bathroom remodel, I had cast a pretty wide net on Angie's List trying to find a contractor with experience working with old homes, and someone I felt that we could trust. I found that contractor with Dunn Home Improvements.
Josh Dunn and his brother, Mike, began work on our bathroom renovation on a Monday morning. Upon entering the home, they laid down drop cloths and stair savers to keep from tracking in - and out - debris and general construction mess through the house. The demolition took a half day, and everything was carefully removed, and very meticulously cleaned. Color me impressed!
The rest of the project flew by, with Josh and Mike framing in the bathroom, running electric, plumbing, et cetera. The first week ended with leveling compound on the floor, set to cure and level out what was quite possibly the most un-even floor in our old home -- mission accomplished! The second week buttoned up with a beautiful tile job, painting, and installation of cabinets. We finally had a bathroom that we could be proud of. The transformation was complete!
I plan on keeping Josh and Mike on speed-dial for other projects for our home. Throughout the entire engagement, I felt not only informed, but empowered. The attention to detail is second-to-none, and I almost can't wait to start more renovation projects to work with Dunn Home Improvements again."
