"Needed a contractor that would handle a small renovation that involved removing an existing door and replacing it with a larger one and it proved to be a difficult task until I tried using Home Advisor. Almost immediately after posting the job, I was contacted by Brett Michel of Avalon Services. Within a few short days, he visited our home, surveyed the project, and provided a very reasonable estimate. A week later, he was on site to begin the task. Brett is extremely knowledgeable about home repairs, is meticulous in his work, and very considerate of his clients. The remodeling and repairs were done quickly and to perfection. I highly recommend Avalon Services for just about any home remodeling project without reservation."

"This company was not upfront with their pricing at all. I feel like I was robbed. I was expecting to pay about $300 for my pool to be closed for the year. That is roughly what I have paid in the past 2 years. This company did not tell me that they were going to charge $203/hr between 2 people. They did no other repairs, just felt like charging $1,100 to close a pool. I did not know I was going to be paying someone what I would pay my lawyer to close my pool. I would never have used this company if I would have known I was going to be paying over $1,000 to close a pool. That is insane how they feel comfortable charging that much. There are so many other great pool companies in Springfield to choose from. Please take my advice and use an honest company. I will never use this ridiculous company again."
