"let me start by saying that, I would not recommend them to remodel a dog house. I had to clean up after them each day that they where here an throwing away boxes sweeping up in the kitchen, after they where done, the garage as well. they did not finish the flooring under the stove until I looked, an said they where trying to save me money like another $60.00 was going to break me. He tried to supply me with a used scratched up sink they tried polishing it out for 3 hours, the scratches where so deep they would not come out. they scratched up the cover on the faucet plate I had to get a new one, to replace it while they where replacing the sink they scratched my new stove on the top when they where setting it in they scratched my dish washer corner installing the counter tops. they chipped my newly painted garage door bringing in the counter top. When I told the owner about how they had lost the plastic prong to the bottom of the dish washer an I found it in the trash he took of the jerry rigged screw off of it an put the plastic prong on an said he would have to order the other one, an that the dish washer door still would not close an it needed to be raised on the one side an moved out, so that it would close. obviously I will not recommend them to any one, I will how ever say that Celest who did the back splash did a great job. Cabinet Refacing and Refinishing questions, answered by experts

Use rugs in high-traffic areas, immediately clean up spills, and do regular dust mopping.

The cost to paint kitchen cabinets is $900 on average but can range anywhere from $175 to $3,000 for a large kitchen. You can expect to pay between $3 and $10 per square foot for this project.

The type of paint can impact your total cost. Latex and acrylic paint typically range from $20 to $50 a gallon, but oil-based paints can cost as much as $80 per gallon. Smaller kitchens that are 100 square feet cost between $300 and $1,000 to paint the cabinets, whereas large kitchens of 400 square feet can cost up to $4,000.

It is possible to refinish your own cabinets, but it’s usually a better idea to leave the work to a cabinetry professional. Refinishing cabinets is a time- and labor-intensive process that involves stripping the old finish off, sanding down every face of the cabinets and doors, and then adding multiple coats of paint and protective finish. Not only is this hard work, but getting the final product to look clean and professional is challenging. An expert will be able to make quick work of the project and leave you with a final product you’ll love.

Technically, you can paint over stained cabinets without sanding. There are specialty paints that are made precisely for not sanding cabinets. However, many interior cabinet paints work just as well.

To make sure you have a smooth surface without sanding, you’ll need to degrease the cabinets thoroughly, add a bonding coat for strength, add primer, and then finally paint your cabinets. It’s still a process regardless of whether you sand your cabinets.

Occasional cleaning with non-abrasive cloths, avoiding excessive moisture, and refinishing touch-ups prolong cabinet life and visual appeal magnified over usage.
