"Windows were manufactured and ready in the time he quoted.  Installation went without a hitch.  The finished product along with the exterior trim they installed looks great.  I will not use anyone else for my properties.

"Leisure Living/Four Seasons had the exact all-weather enclosure product to fit our porch's unusual construction design, without costly alterations. All of the materials were custom-manufactured to our needed dimensions and arrived in perfect shape. The installer was extremely friendly, courteous, and efficient, and did a fantastic job. We could not be happier with the beautiful result."

"New vinyl siding was installed and windows were replaced. Carlos and his crew were the best! Their knowledge and workmanship was excellent along with their communication. Additionally, Trent from their sales office was very knowledgeable and helpful in the decision making process. Overall, I'm extremely happy we chose this company and their products. "I had both vinyl siding and new windows placed. The window crew was phenomenal. They did great work, showed up on time and finished early but without skimping. The windows are great. The siding crew was just as good. They completed the job in a timely fashion and even worked on a Saturday! The siding looks great and I have had numerous complements already. Will not hesitate to use Rolox again for any future needs."

Siding questions, answered by experts

The cost to install board and batten siding averages between $2.50 and $12.50 per square foot, including labor and materials. Major cost factors of this project include the square footage, the siding material, and the local labor rates. Additional costs include the number of windows and doors, the height of the home, and the painting or staining you want done to the siding.

For the materials alone, a square of siding costs an average of $600, but prices can range from $100 to $3,000, depending on the material. Vinyl siding costs toward the lower end of that range, while real brick or stone siding costs closer to the higher end. Keep in mind that many boxes of siding contain two squares, enough to cover 200 square feet, so you may need to double your cost if you only need one square.

Oil-based stains are preferred over latex or water-based varieties because your home's cedar siding must constantly withstand the weather conditions in your location. These stains provide better penetration into the wood to more effectively protect it from UV rays and water infiltration. Oil-based stains are available in transparent, semi-transparent, opaque, or solid-color selections to achieve the look you desire.

The recommended PSI (pounds per square inch) for cleaning vinyl siding can vary, so it's best to consult the manufacturer's guidelines. Generally, vinyl siding can handle high pressure, from 2,500 to 3,500 PSI. For comparison, more delicate materials like wood and aluminum siding should not face more than 1,500 PSI. To safely disperse the pressure on vinyl, use a tip with a wider spray span, such as a green (25-degree) or yellow (15-degree) nozzle. For routine cleaning of light dirt, a garden hose with a spray nozzle may be sufficient. Always exercise caution to avoid using excessive pressure that could damage the siding.

Wood siding requires an air gap behind it to allow water to drain out, and for air circulation and venting to allow humid air to escape and keep the material from rotting due to moisture.
