"The owner, John, was very responsive and courteous when I called. He was able to rearrange his schedule to get someone to give a bid/service call. The plumber, Josh, was on time and gave a straight-forward explanation of the service needed. He had to leave to get a few supplies (while the hourly rate was running). He returned about a half hour later and did the repair. He did not clean up after the job and left the old pipes for me to dispose of. I was charged for 1.5 hours of labor for about a 30-45 minute job plus his trip to the supply house. Furthermore, there was a $95 fee to just send the truck. Total cost of the job was $356. I would not hire this company again."

"I left a message on Bob's phone for an estimate.  He responded within hours.  We discussed in detail over the phone the repairs I was needing.  He gave me a verbal estimate on the phone and scheduled an appointment to see the work and schedule the job date.  He was able to visit my home the next week and after seeing the job, he confirmed the amount discussed over the phone.  He got to work the next day, and even fit in the installation of a garbage disposal that broke the night before he arrived.  He did a fabulous job!  I had an invoice in the mail the following Monday, which was right on target and budget as agreed.  I will definately use Bob Goodman of Lighthouse Handyman in the future.

The work was done as part of a complete bathroom remodel, so the actual scheduling was done by my contractor. I wanted the tile to be glazed before the new cabinets, counter, toilet, etc. were installed, and Marc was able to coordinate with the contractor to make this happen. "Smooth as could be from call to completion.  For $279 (Angie's List deal) they came in and reglazed our nasty old tub to a sparkling white new finish.  It was fast, too. Our old tub had been flaking and chipping - it looks BRAND NEW.  The one note of caution that I would say is the smell is AWFUL.  Thankfully, we have an attic fan and a bathroom fan.  It took about 2-3 days before going into the bathroom didn't knock you out. :)  The installer cautioned not to use bathmats on the tub anymore, since they could suction up the coating I guess.  There are options for non-slip aids though.

"Wanted to fix the problem caused by large Pine and Magnolia Tree leaves continually clogging gutters causing periodic water damage. Decided to install good quality Gutter Guards and fix the current water damage.
Al kept me informed at least a day in advance of his schedule and arrived when promised which I appreciated.
Below are some of the task I watch Al and his brother do and was very happy with the quality I saw.
Gutter Guards
Pressure washer cleaned gutter, downspouts, and surrounding area.
Removed gutters and installed metal protection on fascia board where needed
Adjusted gutter angle to make sure water drained correctly on all sides
Installed and screwed in Guards on all the Gutters to keep in place
Added Metal End caps to prevent squirrels and bird access to gutters.
Corrected a Gutter Problem that caused leaves and debris to collect and build up at one section of the roof allowing water to
