"A Wonderful experience!  We had a pergola on our front entrance where the wood had started to rot.  We needed to have it replaced.  Andrew (the Melon Man) responded quickly to our call for an estimate.  He arrived on time to evaluate the job.  We had an email estimate by the next day.  He provided a contract detailing the work and we paid a down payment.  He scheduled his work for 2 weeks out and even provided the time he planned to start.  The day of the job, he called to let us know that he may be about 30 minutes late; and arrived as expected. 
During demolition, Andrew discovered that there was a need to replace an additional post where wood rot was not visible prior to demolition.  He immediately called us to obtain authorization for the additional work and cost.  
He estimated that the job would be completed in 1 day. 
Melon Man delivered a beautiful pergola while staying with the time and cost estimate. We are very pleased with our new pergola.
It is a pleasure to work with a professional who communicates, is responsive and meets his commitments!

"The project started with a thorough pressure washing followed by a number of days of letting the wood dry completely. They then came out and primed all of the bare wood and then after a few more days they started painting the house. The work took a couple of weeks to complete but this was required to ensure that the paint was applied in the correct manner.
