"A Wonderful experience!  We had a pergola on our front entrance where the wood had started to rot.  We needed to have it replaced.  Andrew (the Melon Man) responded quickly to our call for an estimate.  He arrived on time to evaluate the job.  We had an email estimate by the next day.  He provided a contract detailing the work and we paid a down payment.  He scheduled his work for 2 weeks out and even provided the time he planned to start.  The day of the job, he called to let us know that he may be about 30 minutes late; and arrived as expected. 
During demolition, Andrew discovered that there was a need to replace an additional post where wood rot was not visible prior to demolition.  He immediately called us to obtain authorization for the additional work and cost.  
He estimated that the job would be completed in 1 day. 
Melon Man delivered a beautiful pergola while staying with the time and cost estimate. We are very pleased with our new pergola.
It is a pleasure to work with a professional who communicates, is responsive and meets his commitments!

He ran every number, gave us lots of different ideas, was patient, and had no problem using the design we brought to him. We knew he would be busy throughout the summer, but he kept us up-to-date with the timeline and met the scheduled start date. When he did start, he was right there with his two guys, 100% hands-on the whole way through. They were extremely professional, and worked hard, bell to bell, from start to finish. Finally, we'll note that we did our research, received several bids prior to making our initial decision, and Trevor came in the lowest by quite a bit. "The project started with a thorough pressure washing followed by a number of days of letting the wood dry completely. They then came out and primed all of the bare wood and then after a few more days they started painting the house. The work took a couple of weeks to complete but this was required to ensure that the paint was applied in the correct manner. I've had my house painted a number of times by other companies and this company is by far the best that I have had hired. They really care of what the final product will look like."
