"They do not pick up pianos unless it is under a certain weight, they won't take it down more than two steps, and it isn't wet outside. This should be advertised on their website! I chose them because I needed the piano moved along with a huge pile of other stuff. I still had them remove the other stuff, but if I had known, I would have hired somebody else instead. I felt that their TV ads are misleading that they will take anything and their written list of items they will take is also misleading as it states they will take pianos. Besides that, the guys were good that moved the junk and they moved quickly and were on time."

AACE Services is owned by Jim Johnson, and has been serving the Twin Cities since 1979. We are a family run business that takes care of our customers the right way. Many of our employees are first or second generation family members. We will give you a full quote over the phone, and honor our pricing when we arrive if the debris removal project was as described on the phone. We treat our customers fair and ask that they treat us the same way. We have EZ load roll-off containers and dumpsters in sizes from 5 to 18 yards.

"AACE Hauling promptly dropped off the dumpster at the time they said they would and put it exactly where I wanted it. When they dropped it off I asked for the driver to make a note to pick it up on a certain day. That must have gotten lost because they didn't show up on that day. I called them and they were out the next day, so it wasn't a big deal. It was painless and they pulled out some metals from my load for recycling, which was nice. Will call them again for future projects."

This is much higher than inflation, which has only topped out at 8.6%. Walters is price gouging on an essential service – this is indisputable. When I contacted Walters, they gave me a line about their costs going up and offered me a $7 quarterly discount. They wouldn’t budge to make any reasonable concession in pricing, even though I offered to pay an inflation adjusted price from my original billing. When I was transferred to a supervisor, he was conveniently out of the office. I had a similar experience with Walters when I was with them previously. At that time, they admitted that they automatically increase their customers’ bills after a year. This is a disgusting, unethical practice and results in bills that raise endlessly. NEVER use Walters. Their pricing tactics are predatory and unethical. Walters should lose their trash hauler license in C*** Rapids due to their unethical business pricing practices on an essential service. I have left Walters and gone to another provider who was willing to provide a reasonable price."
