Well, I went forward with the project and could not be happier. Everything went smooth on the date of installation. After discussing the location of the plug in site Mike thought the best location would be in a spot which required him to do extra wiring but there was no change in cost. He was excellent at explaining what he was doing and answering my questions. He even took the time to test everything with the generator hooked up to the transfer switch to make sure we everything worked properly. I have more electrical projects coming up and will definitely be hiring Mike at Randy's Electric. I recommend you do too! "I wanted a condensate pump on the A/C and furnace so that the condensation didn't have to drain through a garden hose on my basement floor.  I also had purchased a new (and quite expensive) fan for the bathroom; the electrician had wired it but it needed to be vented.Professional Mechanical's price was very reasonable and the installation seemed to go smoothly.  The condensate pump looks great and works fine.  The only problem was that the bath fan did not work as it was supposed to:  it was supposed to run continuously at low speed and then go up to high speed when it sensed movement in the room.  Instead, it ran continuously on high speed.  I looked at the installation instructions and found that this is caused by an obstruction in the venting.  It turned out that about four extra feet of the flexible tubing had been stuffed into the space between the ceiling and the floor above.  Fortunately, my carpenter discovered this and removed the extra flex.  Now the fan works correctly."
