Small jobs welcome

"I am very pleased with the work done. The company is very responsive. I had another lawn company and they did the bare minimum when they mowed my lawn. This company really cares about what they do and that I am pleased with the work done."

"Really good experience. I needed to have a large and old Weber propane grill removed from my back deck and disposed of. Junk 86 followed up promptly, gave a reasonable estimate, and we scheduled a time for pick-up. They communicated well and were easy to work with. Recommended."

"If you are going to need mulch, make sure that you order it in advance because if it is not put down after the weed spray they will charge you again for spraying - wish I had been advised of this I talked with the company and we got it all figured out. Their customer service is great!"

"I hired OG Services Solutions to refresh my front yard garden bed, clean the weeds around the house, and install drain tile to address my wet lawn. Pablo from OG came up with great designs and clearly shared a documented scope, plan, and timelines along with estimates. Not only did they provide a detailed plan and estimates, but they also delivered the project exactly as planned. This is a small company that works collaboratively to acquire customers and establish its brand. Their team was fantastic to work with, and I highly recommend both the team and the company."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.

The safest way to remove lead-based paint is by letting a professional take over. For most people, lead paint removal costs an average of $3,400. You should never attempt to dry sand old lead-based paint surfaces by hand. Most professionals use a paint stripper to do the job followed by wet scraping, but if you don’t want to remove lead paint, another option is to paint over it. Only consider this option if the old lead paint finish isn’t flaking or cracked.

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

No, you can’t place hazardous waste in a dumpster unless you specifically ordered a dumpster for hazardous waste removal. If the dumpster company finds hazardous waste that it didn’t approve for dumping, the company will return the waste to you, and you’ll likely face a fine for illegal dumping.

Professional lead removal involves identifying and safely removing or encapsulating lead-based paints and materials, using specialized equipment, and following strict safety procedures to minimize exposure and contamination.
