Trevor was part of the team when we were finishing a kitchen remodel in 2014.  At that time we had him open a space in a wall for a future cabinet, but not cut through the wall until we knew what we wanted.  We figured out what would work best and asked him to finish the wall cut-out and smooth the sides so the new cabinet will fit.  While Trevor cut the drywall, his helper vacuumed up all the dust.  They also moved a storage unit to another room.  Trevor also answered some questions I had about a problem outside. 

They were done with everything within 40 min and no dust or drywall fragments remained.  I'm sure he will return to help with some other job in the future.

"It's true: working with Hal is not like working with other contractors. With Hal, you are developing a relationship, not fulfilling the terms of a contract. For some that might be more than they want out of a contractor. For me, it was exactly what I needed. Example: I was talking with Hal about another matter when we both happened to notice some rotting boards on our deck. I thought it was unsightly, but nothing serious.
