"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. Thank You!"

"Movers were friendly and nice to work with. However scratched floors in both homes and there were bangs in door frames, didn?t bring the quoted vehicle and to go back for a second load which cost us another $100."

"He was easy to communicate with (despite the fact that my phone broke a couple of days before service and I needed to change the date because my movers were late). He helped make at least one aspect of a stressful time (moving) peaceful and simple."

Moving questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s possible to move a shed without dismantling it. You can roll it from one location to another or use a pickup truck, trailer, or forklift to move a fully assembled shed.

Hiring professional movers is usually worth the investment. These moving pros have the expertise and experience to get the job done quickly and safely, saving you time and potentially avoiding damage to your belongings. Professionals are especially a good idea if you’re moving long distances or large, bulky items, like furniture, pianos, or vehicles. Pros will also know when you need moving permits based on where you live and whether or not the moving truck will block traffic.

Apartments come with strict regulations about what pets are allowed, so check before you sign a lease. If you have a fish or reptile, wait to move them until everything is set up and you’re ready to do a special move just for them and their aquarium/terrarium.

For a dog or cat, be sure you have a carrier before the move. On moving day, it’s best to designate a “safe room” or even a crate for your pet to help them get used to the new space. Keep everything they need in the safe room, and let them explore the rest of the apartment in their own time.

Using moving pods is generally cheaper than hiring a full-service moving company, primarily because you handle the packing and loading yourself, which eliminates labor costs. The cost savings are most significant for long-distance or cross-country moves; for local moves, hiring a moving company might be the more economical option. Renting and shipping moving pods can cost between $2,000 and $5,000, depending on factors like distance, the number of containers, and the weight of your items. Some services also charge a monthly rental fee of $75 to $200. In comparison, hiring a professional moving company for a long-distance move typically costs between $2,700 and $10,000.

The number of boxes you need to move depends on the size of their house and whether your style is minimalist or maximalist. However, on average, most people need around 60 boxes to move. It’s essential to pick the correct box sizes to ensure efficient packing.
