"Had problems getting someone who would take care of wood rot on second floor. They came out and did the job which was more important as my house is on market. Guy was super nice and did a really good job. Family owned and owner takes pride in quality of service they provide. Am real estate agent and actually posted on Facebook a referral (with disclaimer to do your own due diligence) but will definitely be on top of my list of referrals for my clients looking for a handy man. Only recommend people I have used that have a history of above average service to customers.

In all fairness the worker did overcharge a bit on labor and I do manage the time clock. Owners worked with me to resolve.

Moving questions, answered by experts

Success in Lino Lakes moves depends on planning around Minnesota’s seasonal weather, using a detailed moving checklist, and understanding the area’s lakes and wetlands. Ensuring your new home’s systems are ready for winter, coordinating with local community schedules, and preparing for property upkeep—especially for lakefront or wooded lots—help ensure a smooth transition and long-term satisfaction in your new space.

Helpful?

In Lino Lakes, your property’s condition shapes your moving approach. Lakefront homes may require specialized equipment for limited access and adherence to environmental guidelines. Rural properties with septic systems need unique preparation compared to homes with city utilities. Large or sloped lots might call for extra moving help, and winter moves require attention to snow, ice, and heating needs for a safe, efficient process.

Helpful?

After your move in Lino Lakes, keep all permits and final inspection records, especially if you made changes like finishing a basement or adding a deck. Hold onto moving contracts, detailed inventory checklists, and receipts for any storage options you used. Retain utility transfer confirmations, address change notices, and, if applicable, documentation for school enrollment or local neighborhood association updates.

Helpful?

Moving in Lino Lakes can bring surprises like extra charges for navigating narrow lake roads or arranging temporary storage options if your new home isn’t ready. Winter weather may require additional protective materials for your belongings. Some neighborhoods have move-in day restrictions, and rural homes might need septic system checks. Utility reconnections and last-minute packing supplies can also add to your moving checklist.

Helpful?

In Lino Lakes, a well-done move shows in careful weatherproofing during cold months, efficient use of a moving checklist, and safe handling of items across uneven or lake-adjacent terrain. You should notice organized unpacking, timely utility transfers, and clear respect for local parking and noise guidelines. Proper labeling of seasonal gear, like snow shovels, also points to thorough preparation.
