"We started in the spring. Greg came out to assess my falling apart garage. He tore down the old garage and replaced it. As it is an attached garage, it was quite a process. Everything went very well. There were some delays due to weather, but that is understandable. Overall, I am thrilled with my new garage and so happy that Greg was also able to redo the sidewalk and steps to my front door. The work is holding up beautifully and Greg and his crews were great to work with."

"Working with Trevor and his guys was AWESOME! He came out to our house, got the measurements, inquired about everything we were looking for in our new deck. He provided multiple options (Cedar, Composite, Combination of both types of materials) and provided his insights to help us make the best choice for us.  I got multiple bids for the job and his was by far the best. There was another builder who was trying to charge an additional $6,000 for the exact same deck. He completed the plans for us and stayed in email and phone contact with us the entire time.
He got the work underway a month before we were supposed to start, after checking in to make sure that was alright with us. Trevor and his guys did a wonderful job using a Herringbone pattern on the decking and really nice wood work for the railings and stairwell. They used routers to smooth the edges and added some nice detail. There isn't one thing we don't like about our new deck. 
As someone with limited experience in construction, I really appreciated that he had the expertise and ethics to do the best job possible. I would refer this company to anyone looking for an honest, hard working, attention to detail oriented builder. It is evident that these gentlemen love what they do and they are excellent at it.

"Barrier did a great job. They were skilled and helpful in solving an existing problem and preventing future problems. We are happy with their work and professionalism. As the first step, Matt came to our home to explain in layman's language why the house had a moisture problem and how the remediation process works. We totally understood the scope of the project and what to expect. Barrier sent their own crews for different aspects of the job. We were always told by the office manager who was coming and when they were arriving. We had an excellent project lead and leaders for the crews. The job site was cleaned up every night. Communication was easy. As situations came up, we were able to talk to or email Barrier employees and get prompt responses and solutions."

"One structure in the form of a arbor with a gate completed our fence.
     The other structure a small deck outside of the lower sliding glass doors, with a pergola added,
     gives a quiet shady respite to the yard.
      We also had Hal design and build a fountain feature added to the garden area itself.  Which gives a soft
      and flowing water sound near the small deck.
      The work overall is outstanding with a very finished look.  It was also accomplished as per estimate of
       time and cost.  They were very considerate to make the work space neat and clean each day at finish
       time.
     
       We would "highly" recommend these contractors to anyone wanting this type of excellent yard work done.

"Greene Construction continues to impress my wife and I. We've had them out to do a number of jobs and I am slacking on my Angie's List reviews, so this is long overdue! We had significant hail damage from the spring storms in 2013 and our insurance company graciously agreed to replace the roof for us. I was already negotiating with Greene on a basement remodel job and when they found out about the roof they brought in Ron, their roofing specialist, and gave me a bid the next day. Even though I had an existing relationship with Greene, I did get quotes from 3 other roofing companies for due diligence and info gathering. I also did some research on the internet and word-of mouth. What I learned is that not all roofing companies are equal. Most of these guys are "storm chasers"-- they canvas the neighborhoods that get hit by hail and try to get a foot in the door. Once they get one neighbor signed up, it's not too difficult to get others. The insurance companies don't pay top dollar for new roofs. To keep their margins up, the storm chaser strategy is to sub-contract roofing crews who work fast and cheap and then disappear. They do the bare minimum to cover code, and they don't really care about the final quality as long as the inspector is OK with it. They don't care about taking care of the home owner because most home owners don't need more than one roof installed in their time spent in the home, so there's no repeat business. If your rush-job roof leaks the following year, good luck getting the storm chasers to fix it! You will be paying your insurance deductible (again) and, if you're smart, getting Greene out to make it right. Because Damian and his crew want to install your egress window, remodel your basement, install your doors, and build your deck, they're going to make sure that your roof is installed properly and go above code. Even if it means less margin for them on the roof, they want to make you happy so you'll use them again and again on other jobs. I consider this a very good motivation for them to do good work, and it shows. Damian (the president) was on-site pretty much the entire time the crew was working to make sure everything was done right. When he noticed debris falling through the slats into my garage, he had his team tarp everything and then clean it after. They walked the perimeter with magnets to find loose nails. They picked up every piece of debris. Damian even sent the crew back at 10pm to tarp some spots because there was a 10% chance of rain that night. Look, I don't know a ton about roofing, but I feel super confident in the job that Greene Construction did. The roof looks great, the new seamless gutters and downspouts work great, and I know if anything goes wrong, Damian will take care of me. I know this sounds like a commercial but I am just super happy with their work. I can't recommend them enough!!!"
