"We started in the spring. Greg came out to assess my falling apart garage. He tore down the old garage and replaced it. As it is an attached garage, it was quite a process. Everything went very well. There were some delays due to weather, but that is understandable. Overall, I am thrilled with my new garage and so happy that Greg was also able to redo the sidewalk and steps to my front door. The work is holding up beautifully and Greg and his crews were great to work with."

"Simply put, Trevor and his crew do great decks.
I have to share my 1st attempt on hiring the right guy for this project. It consisted of me getting a couple recommended contractors from others and thought I was good. Instead it was terrible, to the point where we mutually agreed it was best for them to remove the decking and poorly installed addition and walk away. Naturally I cautiously interviewed several more deck builders before deciding on MN Construction.
From the 1st call, Trevor impressed me. He made time out of his busy schedule to stop by or take my calls. He gave me an clear overview, answered questions and concerns from the last guy's work, explained why when asked, left samples, etc. He suggested deferent designs and product over others and why, building my confidence quickly. After we traded a few emails/texts, my decision to go with MN Construction was an easy one.
During the project, with a crew of 3, progress was made quickly. They were efficient, hard working, and asked questions when needed. The results are more than we expected to get because of his recommendations and I know our deck with last longer because of the quality of work/product they used. When I'd point out this or that, boom done, and better than expected. After interviewing several and hiring a couple, it's hard to find guys like this out there. You can bet they will be getting another call from me on other remodel work and I have already passed their name on.

"We hired Barrier Construction to take care of some stucco issues and repair some structural damage on our house. They were great to work with. They were able to deal with both the structural issues AND the stucco issues, while all other companies we spoke to only dealt with one or the other (meaning we would have to hire and coordinate multiple contractors) and they did a great job. They even noticed and corrected some cosmetic issues (for al fee) that another company had created when working on the house. (They were a mild annoyance whenever we looked at the house but would have been a big lift for us to fix ourselves, and we appreciated their proactive approach when we felt the other company had been fairly neglectful and inattentive to detail in their work). While other general contractors we’ve worked with have been difficult to get ahold of or generally haven’t felt very ‘present’, Barrier was easy to communicate with, they kept us updated, were very responsive, and answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend them."

The windows were late coming from the manufacturer and he went above and beyond to make sure they were installed before Winter. "We needed to replace the siding on our home, had four companies come to our house (three of which were initially found through Angi), and are glad that we used Hoffman Weber to do the job. Their sales associate (Al Lien) was knowledgeable and helpful, but no pressure, which I personally appreciate very much. They had a range of options, and in the end we chose to use HardiPlank which was less expensive than LP at the time of our project. The Hoffman Weber price was very competitive (and significantly lower than the high-pressure company that came out). The installation went well--the crew was hard working and pleasant, and communication with the project manager (Pete) was easy (the installation was done in February, so, weather affected the days of installation). The finished project looks great."

"One structure in the form of a arbor with a gate completed our fence.
     The other structure a small deck outside of the lower sliding glass doors, with a pergola added,
     gives a quiet shady respite to the yard.
      We also had Hal design and build a fountain feature added to the garden area itself.  Which gives a soft
      and flowing water sound near the small deck.
      The work overall is outstanding with a very finished look.  It was also accomplished as per estimate of
       time and cost.  They were very considerate to make the work space neat and clean each day at finish
       time.
     
       We would "highly" recommend these contractors to anyone wanting this type of excellent yard work done.
