They performed their work in an exemplary fashion from the initial cleaning, power washing, sanding, and stain application. They also masked off the house exterior facing the deck. And they made sure I got to fully inspect the results at the end."

"Our service tech, Rob, showed up even before the scheduled time, and got to work immediately after me showing him our problem. He readily fixed our sliding patio door, and went on to do another repair that was needed. In addition, I showed him a couple of other items that I have been thinking of having done. He took photos and said to contact Ace Handyman Services if I decided to proceed. Rob was very personable, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I found Ace Handyman Services on line and emailed them. I received a call the next morning, and had the work scheduled for that afternoon. Would highly recommend. "I received multiple quotes. Roof to deck was in the middle. The product they used was great. The employees that came to do the job were courteous, clean, and did a good job."

"We have a beautiful outcome but we did 75% of the sanding of the deck and 25% of the patio furniture to meet our quality standards. We were told they were meeting industry standards which we did not believe. There were many late arrivals and even two no shows on the part of his subcontractor. The owner was responsive to our complaints but when he saw we could make the deck wood look new by dedicating time to sanding he did concede we were right. Based on the age alone at first we did not feel he agreed it could be achieved. After his subcontractor left we would go over his sanding even of the patio furniture. We were told all boards that needed replacement were part of the estimate but we had to find them, usually after our finger would pop through in order for him to finally change out all of the rotting boards. He took before and after pics, telling us after the fact for advertising, they are not accurate of his subcontractors work. And despite putting in a combined 32 hours of hard labor sanding, as the owners, we were offered no discount for how this all played out. His subcontractor did two things well, power wash and staining. But he used no eye for detail like we had been promised ahead of time. We will consider hiring the owner for future jobs if he does the work himself but never again with a subcontractor."
