"They showed up right when they said they would and did a great job. Concrete sidewalk is all level and clean up was great. No more tripping on the sidewalk. We will be passing their name out to anyone that needs this kind of work done."

"We worked primarily with Nataly and Brenden along with a fair amount of interaction with John who put up our tile. All of these folks were outstanding to work with and made every attempt to answer our questions in a timely fashion. We have had so many compliments on our new kitchen and love it so much. Nataly has such a great vision, she was very instrumental in putting it all together. John put in the tile which was challenging, it looks wonderful he also did several other tasks. Brenden managed the day to day events and kept us in the loop. I would highly recommend PDR for your remodel needs and should we plan to do more in the future we will certainly consider this company."

"They did great. The entire surface was level and free from tripping hazards. It is important to have them seal the cracks because there will be water from snow melt and the concrete will move. This will get you the 5 yr warrantee just in case."

"Water proofing very good results. BUT Caution regarding floor repair from ANY contractor. Make sure you discuss what the floor repair will look like. Mine is not level, and Much rougher Than original floor. Another contractor said it was better than He typically sees. This was done several years ago. Sorry about the late review."

Small jobs welcome

"I just bought this house (without seeing it in person) and was surprised with concrete issues. I had 6 different companies come out to give quotes and Foam-Tek was the absolute most affordable by a land slide! The next closest quote was over twice the cost. I thought, "maybe their work quality isn't that good", but man was that theory wrong. Bruce and his son lifted the driveway apron and back patio concrete. Bruce even noticed another issue and offered to fix it free of charge (it took them an extra hour or so). My garage concrete also has a large crack going down the middle which is hollow. Bruce filled it up for just a tiny additional charge. Everything is now leveled appropriately and ready for rain and snow. If you're looking for quality work for an amazing price, I highly recommend Foam-Tek."

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The total drying time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it needs to harden fully to prevent the concrete slab from shifting under added weight. You should avoid walking on the concrete or placing heavy items like furniture or vehicles on the surface until it has fully set. Your concrete contractor can provide a precise timeline. As a point of comparison, if you opt for polyjacking, the polyurethane foam can dry in minutes, but it's recommended to wait about an hour before use.

Mudjacking is your best bet for leveling concrete on a tighter budget. It’s less expensive than foam or grout mixture. For smaller, surface-level issues, you could also use a self-leveling compound, which creates an even surface over existing concrete—it’s a budget-friendly option suitable for DIY enthusiasts.

Mudjacking can be an expensive foundation repair process, but in many cases, it’s well worth the investment. This is especially true if you’re lifting a portion of sunken foundation slab back into place. In that case, mudjacking can help avoid major structural damage and even home collapse by restoring the integrity of your structure with minimally invasive procedures. Mudjacking a concrete patio, walkway, or sidewalk can be worthwhile because it removes tripping hazards and makes your outdoor area more aesthetically appealing.

A sinking foundation can be lifted, most often by installing piers to re-level and support the weight of the house. Depending on the cause and extent of the sinking, other methods to lift a foundation include underpinning and mudjacking. Consult a foundation repair pro to determine the best way to lift your sinking foundation.

A slurry of cement, sand, and water is injected beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it.
