Hello. I'm Jay Johnson, family man, father of 4, owner and operator of Phoenix Remodel LLC. I've been working in multiple areas of the construction and remodeling industry for over a decade. After working as a company man for so many years, I realized that I'd be able to offer a considerably better value than the big name companies I was working for while providing the same quality craftsmanship. "It wasn't timely. He hires cheap labor that does everything but isnt good at anything. The framers were hacks using broken lumber in spots. Sheetrock cracked and needed repair ( which they did) the new shower was installed without specialized mounting clips and the flange on shower walls were cracked. The shower door did not function and when I went to fix it, the hanging hardware fell off. New flooring throughout the house including the new addition. The new addition subfloor wasn't screwed correctly which resulted in a reinstall. In the old part of the house, the subfloor was not prepped properly causing the vinyl plank to bow and crack. Jim refused to fix. Jim's crew forgot to put a vent on roof so water came into house and collapsed the bathroom ceiling. ( He did take responsibility and fix that) overall very disappointed with someone that claims to do quality work. If I could rate lowerI would."

"Rarely in my experience of owning homes and rental properties have I seen a crew of men take on such a difficult (Structural Damage) project like ours with such skill and professionalism! Roman the Project Manager was punctual and clearly explained what would be necessary to complete this project. His crew were on time, tidy and in good spirits. We were so impressed on the quality of work on the first project that we have hired them to work on a second project involving a claim with our insurance company! "Awful. This company has good reviews but was absolutely awful for me. Called because of a water leak which is supposed to be one of their specialties. They had me hire a separate inspector/specialist to evaluate the home exterior. They then tore a hole in our kitchen ceiling looking for the water leak. When they had difficulty identifying the origin of the leak they simply abandoned the project with a hole in the middle of our kitchen ceiling. Finding water leaks is difficult and I don't blame for having difficulty locating the leak but abandoning the project with a gaping hole in our kitchen is really extraordinarily bad service."
