"Wow, what an incredibly unfair review. We worked with you for several months and created several revisions to the bid (for free). We did not agree to accept your project, we did not sign a contract, we did not accept any money from you. You were very difficult to work with during the bid process and even more difficult when we were discussing possible scheduling. I decided not to proceed with the project because I didn’t think that we would work well together. Your loans and payments are your business. Good luck with your project."
"Thank you for the review. You were great to work with and we love how your project turned out. Thanks again. Mike"
"Sorry that I missed your call. We have been very busy and I am doing my best to get back to everyone. Mike"
"[Member Name Removed] and [Member Name Removed]. Thank you for the great review. We enjoyed doing your project and we have shown the pictures many times. We are doing a kitchen for your neighbor soon so let me know if you need anything. Mike"

"[Member Name Removed], thank you for the great review. We enjoyed working with you on your bathroom. Thanks again. Mike"
"Thank you for your review. I am glad that you agree that we completed a nice installation. I would like to respond to the other issues that you raised in your review. 1. Weather: you wanted this project completed while you were out of town. You said that your wife is pregnant and that you didn’t want the disruption while you were home. As I told you before the project we typically set up the saw outside if the weather is reasonable. We did most of this work during the week that schools were closed due to the temps dropping to -25 or lower. It was just too cold to work outside. 2. Basement: you have an unfinished basement with a workshop. We saw this as the best reasonable option for completion of the work. You never told us that cutting outside was a requirement, you just asked where we usually cut the trim. I didn’t get the impression from you that this would be a problem. 3. Clean up: we swept up our work area after we installed the trim. Sometimes sawdust can be airborne and 2-3 sweeps are required for cleanup. We were planning to be back on site (to install the door and 2 windows) and we planned to clean again while onsite. 4. Wall damage: we explained this to you before the project started. The walls are 80+ year old plaster and the trim/walls have been painted many times. There is no way to remove the trim without a little damage to the walls. The old paint basically glues the trim to the walls. Sparkling the damaged areas is typically done during the painting process and you were doing that part of the project. 5. Size of trim: You chose the trim... at no point did you ask me for a recommendation on the materials. Most new trim is narrower than the trim used many years ago. To replace trim with the same profile we would have had to get custom trim instead of trim from Lowe’s. Custom trim is very expensive. You know exactly what you wanted and didn’t want any opinions from us so we just installed the materials that you chose. Resolution: We decided not to install your windows and door because it became clear that your expectations were not reasonable and could not be met. We compensated you (reduction on invoice) for the extra basement sweep and the wall repairs even though the wall repairs were not in our scope of work. The next time that you hire a contractor you might want to consider the fact that remodeling is a difficult business. We are usually working on an imperfect structure and trying to do a perfect installation. We have to make difficult decisions like where to cut wood when it is -25 outside and complete our project on time. As you can see from our 100 reviews (A rating) and our 3 annual service awards that we take pride in our work and our service. While we try to make everyone happy sometimes that is just not possible. Mike"
"[Member Name Removed], I don’t remember getting a call from you and I checked the Angie’[Member Information Removed] list message center and there are no messages from you. Sorry if I missed you please call me if you still need help. Mike 651-276-2007"
"Thank you for the project and the nice review. Please let us know if we can help you again. Mike"
"Thank you for the kind review. We enjoyed working for you. Mike"
"[Member Name Removed], thank you for your review. The primary reason that our project took longer to complete was the fact that you ordered cheap cabinets from Home Depot that needed to be altered and rebuilt to be properly installed... and you ordered the wrong sizes for the bathroom project so we had to wait for new cabinets to arrive. Our plumber made a mistake and it was corrected. Thank you."
