"StageWorks did our FSBO home staging. They did a phenomenal job!! We got so many comments from realtors and average people about how great the house looked... certainly far better than it ever looked while we lived there! StageWorks is super customer-focused. I have nothing but good things to say about their professionalism, attention to detail, and courtesy. If we were to sell a house again, we would without a doubt use StageWorks again."

"He was very quick to respond to my calls, and once we decided we'd like him to come out to our house for an estimate he was out to our house the next morning (he conveniently had another client meeting in the area). He seemed knowledgeable and provided insight into what finishing my basement would entail. One particularly important thing he noticed is that the ceiling height in some areas of the basement were a couple inches shy of being "up to code." I was glad he was looking out for potential issues already - it shows his ability to plan ahead and account for possible road blocks.  Aside from that, his prices seemed very reasonable! If, or rather  when, I begin doing my basement remodel (which will now likely not be until next summer) I will definitely be keeping Vitaly in mind for the job.

Home Staging questions, answered by experts

In most cases, staging a home is expensive but worth every penny. According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), 81% of agents representing buyers stated that staging made a positive impact on the buyer’s perception of the house and made it easier to visualize it as a home. The value of your home—which is to say the amount buyers are willing to spend—is based on perception alone and not the inherent value of the land or structure. Therefore, improving the appeal of your home through staging is likely to make your home more enticing during a home sale.

The average cost to stage a home is around $1,800, with most sellers paying between $800 and $2,800 for professional services. However, the total cost can vary significantly, ranging from $500-$600 for an initial consultation to $5,000 or more for comprehensive, full-home staging.

The final price depends on several factors, including the home's size, location, and condition, as well as the number of rooms being staged. Other key cost drivers include whether you need to rent furniture, the quality of the decor, the stager's experience, and the duration of the staging services. The scope of the project also plays a role, from virtual staging and simple decluttering to full-service design, which may involve repairs and maintenance.

Most staging projects take 2-5 days, including furniture arrangement, décor placement, and touch-ups.

A simple cosmetic flip with minor repairs can take as little as a few weeks, while more extensive projects that involve structural changes or permit requirements can take several months. The time it takes to renovate a house ranges between three and six months, depending on factors like the extent of renovations, financing, and market conditions.

While LVP won’t increase home value as much as engineered hardwood, it can increase the value somewhat because it creates a warm and inviting aesthetic. It’s also durable and waterproof, so it can be appealing to homebuyers with pets and children. LVP is very low-maintenance, so that can also appeal to homebuyers who don’t want to spend a lot of time keeping up with an engineered or solid hardwood floor.
