"Lots of people have good experiences with Jimmy, but I did not. He was painting the exterior of my house. He gave me a quote in the winter, and I thought I understood what parts of the house he was going to paint and trusted the quote he gave me. It wasn't until the last day of the painting, when the crew was leaving and said they were done, that I realized we were on completely different pages. It was deeply upsetting, and when I spoke with Jimmy about it he insisted that he had done everything correctly and offered to charge me more money to make it right. He seems to have good technical skills, but what was missing was: the sense that we had shared visions for the house, the communication/education skills to ensure that we were consistently on the same page, and the relational skills to find a solution that worked for both of us."
