From the initial visit to measure & consult, to communication, to the 2.5 days of painting, I was totally satisfied with the job! Laurie's bid was literally one third of other companies (4 of them) I got bids from, yet quality did not suffer. Cleanup was great, and she left me the leftover paint. I referred to a friend who also used her.

Laurie did an amazing job skim coating and sanding our kitchen walls. They were a mess after my husband and I took the old wallpaper off. The drywall was damaged and there were lots of dings. She made the walls so smooth and beautiful that it looked like all new drywall had been put up. We were able to paint and make everything look great in there. Very detail oriented and a pleasure to do business with!

This is one example. Because I had paint left from when the room affected was originally painted, Laurie and Teri were able to blend the newly painted areas in the bedroom on the wall and ceiling with the old perfectly. All other bidders said it was impossible and the whole ceiling and wall would need to be repainted. This added over a thousand dollars to their bids. They removed wallpaper in the bathroom and painted lots woodwork. Looks wonderful. I was also appreciative of the clean-up they did at the end of each work day. In summary, they are very skilled, do things the correct way-no corner cutting- and do excellent work at a very fair price.

Our house is over 100 years old and needed significant prep work to complete. Ms Greenjeans not only completed the work we wanted at a very high level of quality, they did it in a timely manner, at a good value, and were extremely considerate of our home. They were very clean in their work; leaving the home in a better condition than they found it in. They are very knowledgeable about what they do and helped us tremendously in making decisions on paint type, colors, etc to get the most out of the space. They showed a lot of attention to detail and I can say that our house has never looked this good. One of the major reasons we chose them for this work was on the recommendation of a neighbor, and that they are a small local business and the people we met with were the ones doing the work in our home. We would, without hesitation, hire them again and recommend them to anyone we know who is having this kind of work done.

The team did an excellent job from estimate to completion of the work. Others I had out to estimate the repair indicated I'd need to have the bedroom ceiling entirely redone. Laurie indicated their team specializes in repairs/matching textures in older homes, and said they could do the work without a total ceiling redo. They quickly provided a bid, and gave me a timeframe that was about 4-5 weeks out, saying they'd be in touch as we were close to the top of their list. Laurie had a reschedule, and asked if I would like to get on the schedule in just about 2-3 weeks from when I received the estimate. I agreed, and they were able to get the job done for the cost they had estimated. I appreciate greatly that they did what they could to keep my costs down, including using paint I already had on hand to match the sections they repaired. In addition, they ended up matching my ceiling texture so well, they didn't even have to repaint the ceiling. The damage in the bathroom ended up being a little more complicated then we first thought, so they used the extra time that freed up to further work on the bathroom and it looks great! Working with the ladies was refreshing, after having been talked down to by a number of other contractors. They provided honest, straight-forward explanation of what needed to be done, what it would cost, and got the job done professionally and quickly. I'd hire them again and recommend them to friends and family. Note: we also happen to have dogs and were dogsitting a third dog when the opening came up. The dogs were barky with new people in the house, but the team was very kind and patient with them and me while we settled them down both days the work was being done. Their kindness and ability to roll with the slight delay this caused to ensure we didn't have all day barking was fantastic. A+, Highly Recommend!!!

We are first-time homebuyers who hired Laurie and Terri to repaint several rooms in the 90-year-old house we’d just bought: a small vestibule, big living room, sunroom, stairway, upstairs hallway, and three bedrooms. They were knowledgeable about older houses, listened well and offered good advice, were attentive to detail, and stayed calm and on-schedule when we added some extra requests during the job. In several instances, they provided a higher level of service or finish than we’d expected, working through aesthetic puzzles of subtly mismatched painted trims, or pointing out a plumbing leak they’d discovered. We found them trustworthy and genuinely friendly, as well as skilled. We look forward to hiring them again!

Two big thumbs up for Ms. Greenjeans! Laurie and Terri did an excellent job painting a bedroom + closet in our house! The closet walls and door frame had a great deal of damaged/peeling paint, and now it all looks like new! They were very professional and did a great job cleaning up after the project. We would definitely hire them again and recommend their work to others! They were also quite reasonably priced, they did not have the most expensive bid that we received.

Laurie and Terri were an absolute joy to work with. They helped me decide what to do about painting doors in the hallway and bedroom. They were on time, extremely neat in their work habits and did a fabulous job of painting. I love the new colors and can't recommend them highly enough!

The porch was in need of a lot of work, (painting over paneling, the ceiling had stains on it, as did the concrete floor. They replaced a piece of trim on the porch, and when they were all finished, it was bright, clean and looked like a brand new room! The hallway and second bedroom had been previously painted by someone (me) who did not do a good job, they cleaned up all my mistakes and made both areas look brand new. Easy to work with, I would highly recommend them!!

They were on time, they were careful and they cleaned up afterward. It was a big job and they were great. It was very well done. My house has some high ceilings, so it was a challenge, but they were totally up to it. Professional and excellent work. They are also very personable and I enjoyed getting to know them. It feels like I am in a new house and I love it.

Fantastic! I am so glad I hired Laurie at Ms. Greenjeans. She and her assistant did a wonderful job at fixing all the surfaces, and the painting looks wonderful. I know it took a lot of patience to deal with all those cracks and deterioration. Now the house looks so fresh. They are truly professionals, and I highly recommend this company!

We’ve hired a lot of painters during our 25+years as homeowners, and Laurie and Terri are by far the best! Two years ago we needed someone to paint a bedroom, plus our stairway, entryway and upstairs hallway (a very big job). We hired them because they had excellent reviews on Angie’s list and gave us the cheapest bid. We were so glad we did! In addition to being exceptional painters, they also repaired water damage in our downstairs closet so extensive that before the repair the closet was unusable. This year when we needed our family room and two more bedrooms painted, they were the only ones we called. In fact, we trusted them so much that we had them do the painting while we were on vacation! Once again, they did fabulous work, including repairing what we hope is our last water damage ever and replacing trim pieces that my husband had been promising to do for years. We will definitely hire them again!

Very well. Nice ladies and we had a few laughs along the way. Very thorough, they work like a well oiled machine. Great job on walls and on trim, top, bottom, around windows. Found no whoops anywhere. I would hire them again for sure.

Bid Process: Laurie and Terri arrived on time and took the time needed to understand the scope of our project and gather information necessary for an estimate. They were courteous, listened well, and were extremely helpful by offering suggestions and alternatives. Their bid arrived within several working days – which was very prompt in comparison to the three other painters that came to bid on this job. In the end, our decision to hire Ms. Greenjeans was easy. Their bid was not the least expensive, but it was clear, concise, and without exception contained all the items we initially discussed. Further, they were able to begin work within our desired time frame. But, more so than anything else, we felt at ease about opening our doors for a week to Laurie and Terri. They were the ones who came to write the estimate, and they were the ones who came every day to paint – in short, there were never any strangers in our home. The work: Our walls and ceilings hadn’t been painted in a long time, and what paint had been put down previously was sloppily applied. The trim work was 60 yr. old varnished wood – we made the decision to have it all prepped and painted. Ms. Greenjeans repaired every nail pop, scratch, hole and divot in our walls and trim. The project took 5 days, exactly as planned. Quality: We are very, very pleased. Ms. Greenjeans worked clean, efficiently and thoroughly. They began the project and completed the project precisely as we agreed. Professional painters, with professional, seasoned results. Communication: Most of our contact was via email for our convenience. Their email responses were always prompt and cordial, as were several phone calls during the project. Misc: We have two well-behaved but large dogs. Laurie and Terri gracefully accepted the challenges of accommodating our need to have the dogs restricted to the back of the house. Recommendation: In you desire personable, helpful, professional painters then Ms. Greenjeans is for you.
