Raking my roof last month I discovered my worn chimney was perforated and looked like it might come down. I’d spoken with Joe last fall and we’d agreed it needed work but I hadn’t set anything up. I called him in on an emergency basis and he moved us way up the priority list. We were his first project of 2019. That was life-saving #1. #2 was when, on the day the project began, a neighbor unexpectedly denied access to two feet of his property for the legs of scaffolding. This was an uncomfortable moment and meant the work crew had to be creative in safely setting up the scaffolding in an unexpected way. The situation was complicated by the fact that there was still snow and ice on the ground and I hadn’t prepared the new area. Joe’s crew worked very professionally to resolve the situation and the project proceeded without delay. They performed a complete demolition and rebuild of our chimney under adverse (cold) conditions in under two days. I work at home and their impact on my day was minimal.
