"Was very pleased with the overall result of New Again. I submitted dimensions and pictures over the website and received a very competitive quote. After stripping the deck there were a few more boards where some rotting was identified and Barak and his team replaced them promptly. Stain looks great and made an immediate difference. I had been contemplating if my 20 year old deck was too far gone and needed replacing... but after seeing what Barak could do with stripping the old paint off, replacing some bad boards, and staining... I'm very glad I chose to do this rather than replacement."

In 2010, with over ten years of irrigation experience, founders Tom Olson and Russ Jundt were increasingly disturbed by the tremendous amount of water wasted by typical irrigation systems. They founded Conserva Irrigation to directly address this waste, making Conserva the only irrigation company founded solely on the principles of conservation. We’ve worked hard to make water conservation economically feasible. Our affordable solutions employ a profound blend of technology and design, developed after considerable study of available technologies, water dynamics, environmental concerns and best horticultural practices. Typical systems installed by Conserva use 30% - 60% less water than a traditional system! That water savings (achieved with minimal material or energy impact), can make a huge difference to a planet facing serious environmental concerns. And as irrigation accounts for up to 67% of our fresh water use, run off from over watering carries large amounts of fertilizer into our fresh water lakes and streams. Conserva Irrigation systems greatly reduce or eliminate the run off that contributes to municipal overflows, protecting your drinking water sources while conserving your community’s water supply. With Conserva Irrigation on your side, you can rest easy knowing your irrigation system is: • As environmentally friendly as possible • More cost effective than ever before • Maintained for peak performance by a company that delivers service second to none

"Exceptional. I have worked with Conserva Irrigation in the past and their service and professionalism is second to none. This year was no exception."

"Chris and his team were really great to work with. Professional. Good communication from start to finish. Everything was on time. We would definitely work with him again. We are very satisfied with the final result. He was also very reasonably priced. We got three quotes for our job. One came back at 3 times as much as Chris's quote, and the other was almost double. They paid attention to details like taking care to not ruin the yard as they accessed our job site from the road and cleaning up everything when they were done. We can't say enough good things about Chris and his team."

Lawn Irrigation questions, answered by experts

If your lawn has some lumps and bumps, yes, aeration can help—although it may also be beneficial to take on other steps, like irrigation, fertilization, and dethatching (also known as scarifying). You can also use a power rake to physically break up the bumps in your lawn, which can help you achieve a more even look.

Moss growing in a lawn is a sign of poor soil that makes it hard for grass and plants to grow. Moss thrives in these conditions and spreads easily, so it can quickly take over your yard if it’s lacking in nutrients, too wet, or has an excessive amount of shade. Moss in the lawn isn’t always a bad thing, but it can prevent turfgrass from forming deep roots.

Bahia grass is not difficult to grow, but you might need patience for this slow-growing grass. Whereas some grass species, like Bermuda grass, can take 1 to 2 weeks to germinate, Bahia grass can take two or three times as long, making it seem like it won’t grow. But again, once your Bahia grass is established, it requires little maintenance. Its deep root system makes it a very durable grass that can bounce back after freezes and droughts.

The frequency of lawn aeration depends on various factors such as soil type, grass variety, and lawn usage. In most cases, aerating once a year, typically in the fall or early spring, is sufficient to maintain a healthy lawn. However, lawns subject to heavy foot traffic or especially compacted soil may benefit from more frequent aeration, possibly every six months. It's essential to assess your lawn's specific needs and consult with a lawn care professional if you're unsure about the ideal aeration schedule for your property.

If you have a beautifully thriving yard with no bald spots, you can choose to aerate your yard once every two years. Otherwise, having your lawn aerated at least once a year is recommended. And in those circumstances where you have a significant amount of thatch buildup or a thinning and bald yard, it's best to aerate twice a year to maintain a healthy lawn.
