"This is the second time I've hired Jeremy. He is fantastic! I had multiple issues with my carpets and he fixed them all. For the second time (!) he replaced the carpet on one step because the cats had shredded it. Looks great. Was sure to answer all of my questions before he began work, didn't try to upsell me and got all the gross cat urine stains and odors out, plus ink or something in my daughter's room. I was thinking I needed to replace my carpet, but after he cleaned them, I realized they still have life left in them. Would definitely recommend him. Have had other cleaners and he is the best! Thanks, Jeremy."

"I am very pleased to recommend Ohana Clean LLC for carpet cleaning! Last year, Ohana cleaned our carpets (3 rooms and stairs) and I was more pleased than I ever had been with a cleaning company. I needed cleaning again (kind of an afterthought while thinking ahead to a party we’re hosting Sunday) so I tried to find their contact info. But it was to no avail. So I reached out on another company’s site asking for an appointment and quote. Then I stumbled across my business card for Ohana and had them back out today. They are very reasonably priced - and their work is superb, super, and superior to any other carpet cleaners. My 20-year-old carpet looks awesome and they got some stains out that were “iffy”. I know have them in my contacts and they have earned status as our forever carpet cleaners!! Kudos Ohana! ?? BTW I still haven’t heard from the big company I messaged."

"The results were excellent—our carpets look refreshed, the stains we were worried about are gone, and everything dried quickly. Joe worked efficiently but with great attention to detail, and it’s obvious he takes pride in delivering high-quality service. If you’re looking for reliable, honest, and top-tier cleaning in the Minneapolis area, Joe and Voda are a fantastic choice. Highly recommended."

Carpet Cleaning FAQs, answered by experts

Steam cleaning your carpet is a highly effective and easy way to clean everyday dirt and grime. While you may need to pretreat some hard-to-remove spots for maximum effect, you can regularly steam clean your carpet to help it stay looking new and fresh for years to come. Don’t forget to give it some time to dry.

Yes, hairspray can remove ink from carpet, but only because it contains alcohol. Alcohol is the solvent that dissolves the active ingredients in hairspray, which makes hairspray behave similarly to rubbing alcohol when applied to a stain.

You can use baking soda to start getting the urine odor out of your mattress. Baking soda is highly absorbent and soaks up odors, so it will not only draw the urine out of your mattress but it can also get to work fighting the lingering smell. You can also use an enzymatic cleaner to break down the urine to make it easier to clean. Just keep in mind that you need to remove enzymatic cleaners from the mattress after use, as leaving them on could be dangerous.

While you can clean memory foam, it should not go through a washing machine or be soaked in water. Always clean memory foam according to the tag's instructions. That said, many memory foam items come with removable covers that can be machine washed.

Yes, you can use a hose to clean an area rug. Before you do, it’s a good idea to vacuum out dust and dirt and use a rug brush to remove pet hair and other debris. Just be careful not to be too aggressive, or you’ll damage the material. Bring your area rug outside and wet it evenly with your hose. You can even use a pressure washer on a light setting if you have a new, durable rug. Continue soaking until the water runs clean, and then hang your rug to dry.
