"They did a great job and were very professional. Our 27 year old floors look brand new again! I am a skeptic these days regarding the accuracy of reviews as we have been burned before. Rest assured this will not be the case here. Grain will do a wonderful job on your hardwood floors."

"Allen was responsive right away via email and text message. He was on-time and/or early for estimate and on the work day. Bathroom and floor look incredible. He installed a product called enduroshield (sp?). It works as promised. Water beads right off of tile and grout, it's amazing to watch. Allen also gave good advice on how to preserve the existing tile. Would definitely hire him again."

"They vacuumed all the beds and furniture, they vacuumed all the floors right down to vacuuming in the corners. They polished all my furniture and cleaned the outside of my oak cabinets. They put everything away that I asked into my china cabinet. They cleaned all the windows in the inside and cleaned the windows on my display cabinets. My house just sparkles now."

Hector and Martha did a really great job deep cleaning an extremely dirty townhome after the tenant moved out.  It took longer than anticipated but they still charged the agreed upon amount.

I called hector on a Wednesday and he agreed to come to the unit for an inspection since it was so dirty.  He and Martha came promptly when he said they would on Friday, thoroughly looked the place over, listened to what I considered my priorities, gave me an estimate, and said they could do the cleaning on the following Monday.

The cleaning included:   Kitchen and bathroom cabinets inside and out, pantry floor and shelves, all vinyl floors including the really bad areas that were under the refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer and scrubbing the edges of the floors by walls cabinets, fixtures,, etc., windows including the sills and tracks, scrubbed walls wherever there was "hand dirt", switch plates, baseboards, window and door frames, washed doors, washed sinks, tubs, shower stalls, toilets, dusted light fixtures, wiped down the furnace, water heater, water softener, and ducts in utility room, and removed cobwebs throughout.  There is probably more I am not remembering.

The difference between when they started and finished was amazing.  I will definitely use them for future cleaning needs.

One thing I really appreciate was their honest estimate.  Several other vendors would only give estimates over the phone, but without actually seeing the place and how bad it was, I have no doubt they significantly underestimated the effort.  I greatly prefer the realistic estimate and no surprises later.  If the dollar amount seems high, keep in mind this place was really, really dirty.  The per hour amount of their estimate was actually lower than other estimates I received.    I think I got a bargain for all that they did.

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

The cost for professional floor cleaning is $250 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $1,500, depending on the type of flooring and its square footage.

For example, natural stone flooring requires specialized techniques and care, so you'll spend closer to the higher end of the cost range. The cost of cleaning tile and grout is more cost-effective, where you'll pay an average of $0.50 to $3.50 per square foot.

Both buffing and polishing increase the longevity of your floors by removing scratches and buildup, but they are different processes. Polishing removes the top layer of your floor, removing surface-level scuffs and scratches. Buffing your floor involves filling the scratches and scuffs with a buffing solution. No matter which method you choose, you can rest assured that both techniques will leave your floor looking shiny and new.

Using too much soap or floor cleaner can leave your laminate floors looking dirty or cloudy after mopping. Only use a teaspoon of soap or cleaning solution in a gallon of water. Additionally, always be sure to sweep or vacuum laminate floors before mopping to ensure you pick up dried grit, hair, and dust that can be harder to catch with a wet mop.

To properly maintain and care for hardwood floors without damaging the finish, establish a regular cleaning routine. Sweep with a broom or microfiber dust mop daily, or vacuum weekly, to remove dirt and debris that can scratch the surface; be sure to clean in tight corners and under furniture. For a deeper clean, use a damp mop with a cleaner specifically designed for hardwood floors, but avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive water, as this can damage the wood. You can further protect your floors by placing mats at entryways to catch dirt and moisture and putting felt pads under furniture legs to prevent scratches. For long-term care, refinish the floors as needed to keep them looking their best.

Before starting on a full refinishing project, determine if your floors need to be completely sanded down to the bare wood or if the damage is shallow and mostly cosmetic. Deep scratches and gouges will require you to rough sand using a drum sander or belt sander, but small surface scratches or floors that have only lost their luster don’t need a complete overhaul. Instead, you can skip the rough sanding step and sand-screen the old finish with a buffer, removing only the top layer of polyurethane.
