"We hired Barrier Construction to take care of some stucco issues and repair some structural damage on our house. They were great to work with. They were able to deal with both the structural issues AND the stucco issues, while all other companies we spoke to only dealt with one or the other (meaning we would have to hire and coordinate multiple contractors) and they did a great job. They even noticed and corrected some cosmetic issues (for al fee) that another company had created when working on the house. (They were a mild annoyance whenever we looked at the house but would have been a big lift for us to fix ourselves, and we appreciated their proactive approach when we felt the other company had been fairly neglectful and inattentive to detail in their work). While other general contractors we’ve worked with have been difficult to get ahold of or generally haven’t felt very ‘present’, Barrier was easy to communicate with, they kept us updated, were very responsive, and answered all of our questions. "Phillepe did a superp job at cutting out a small wall in condo and fixing floor to match. A+. Great on communicating. Great pricing. The job was a rather large one, I personally in hind sight do not recommend spraying paint for condos in winter due to ventilation. But after a few weeks when the air cleared, I am appreciative of the nice clean lines they did on painting. They re sprayed ceiling too to get it whiter. All the spray was a bit much for me, air wise, and although I was not fully moved in at the time, it took a little time for it to settle. I personally would request hand painting next time around, as over spray can float or get it's mist settling on wood or in air more than expected, as long as adequate ventilation is available. But I am doing my review now, several months later, because I appreciate how my condo looks (the job) so much. Lines good, and job over all worth it. Phillepe wanted me to be happy and is very friendly. Overall, I am glad he helped paint it, and as mentioned lines are very clean, and the wall cut out and floor match job done well."

He paid a lot of attention to details on how the shadows fell and the lighting of each room, and the resulting paint color. They replaced all 20 year old banners above the windows, repaired a horizontal crack in the stucco, resurfaced almost the entire front of the house, repainted the entire exterior, and caulked all the windows.
