"Outstanding Customer Service in this day & age. They actually made a timely repair appointment & arrived on time. The competitor who installed the fence was so busy, the earliest they could come out & fix the damage, was 45 days later. The competitor said, just tie your dog up for 45 days. Ya right. This company will be doing all of our dog fence work going forward, along with all 200 neighbors who have dogs in our neighborhood. Great, friendly & knowledgeable service tech, Aaron, who fixed our damaged electric fence. Great to work with a local company, instead of a National scheduler from a state 2,000 miles away. Thanks Dog Guard."

"They did a beautiful job. It was spendy. It was a lot because it was all cedar and it was kind of custom done. It is very pretty. Their pricing was not inexpensive, but I think the quality of their work and the value were there."

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

How long skunks stick around depends on the time of year and whether they have youngsters. Skunks only spend a few days in a den during warm months. However, they’ll put down roots during the other seasons, particularly females with kits. Female skunks may stay in the same place throughout early spring and summer, and all skunks usually stick around during the winter months. No matter the season, skunks prefer safe areas with plenty of access to food.

Bobcats do attack domesticated animals, like small dogs and cats. Your pets are especially at risk if they’re below 30 pounds. The best way to protect your pets is to keep them safely indoors at night when bobcats are more likely to be roaming or being outside with your pets so they’re not unaccompanied.

Scarecrows and lifelike animal decoys, such as snakes, owls, coyotes, foxes, and hawks, can initially deter rabbits. However, these tactics might lose effectiveness if rabbits learn they are harmless. Having your dog or cat roam and mark the yard with their scent can also prove beneficial. Keep in mind tactics like these work best when combined with other methods.

The laws in Florida allow residents to kill iguanas on certain public lands and on private lands with landowner permission, even without a permit. Residents are encouraged to kill iguanas, a nonnative reptile seen as a pest throughout the state. Landowners are responsible for removal. Residents are not legally allowed to possess, transport, or relocate iguanas without a permit.

Raccoons may sometimes leave a property on their own, but this is not guaranteed. For a persistent raccoon infestation, it is advisable to take measures for trapping and removal. After they have been removed, it is important to seal any potential entry points to prevent their return.
