"Had under cabinet lighting installed several years ago and recently part of lights went out and needed to be repaired. Randy's Electric backed up their workmanship and replaced the lighting and rewired the lighting so the lights would not go out as easily. This was at no cost to us. We are very pleased with the service at Randy's Electric and would highly recommend them."

"The scheduling and installation went as expected.  Windshield used was better than OEM quality.  Windshield didn't seal on passenger upper corner and leaked into headliner after going through car wash.  Greg attempted mitigation of leak which failed.  Greg agreed to remove, reuse and replace the same windshield no charge in accordance with his warranty.  A lack of Greg's responsiveness resulted in getting the windshield replaced again by a Ford dealership which cost around $500.  Greg reimbursed me for a little more than half the original $300 cost of the windshield as a good faith gesture.  Based on my experience, I would recommend Greg for any vehicle EXCEPT a Ford Edge.

"HandyVoy was very efficient and super nice! They installed duct work and our range hood so our kitchen fumes could be taken outside. I would definitely hire them again for any type of handy work that my husband doesn't want to do :)"

"I had Fair and square complete a bathroom and kitchen remodel in my home. In the bathroom they installed glass tile on shower and walls, put in a new vanity and countertop, tiled the floors, and put in a new sink and faucet. My kitchen got new cabinets with mission style doors, new stone counters, and bamboo flooring. They were very clear on their pricing. Their designer came out and looked at the shape of my kitchen and gave me a handout that showed the costs for my kind of kitchen was about $34k. She then showed me all the selections I could make that would keep me within my budget and I chose to do an additional tile backsplash upgrade. They managed to finish the whole thing in 6 weeks. I also love that I was able to use their 12 months same as cash option.

"MN Plumbing was amazing!!!! We purchased appliances from a company who uses MN Plumbing for installations. They went above and beyond by coordinating the installation of several appliances at one time even though the company we purchased from said we couldn't do that. Michelle, the office manager, was wonderfully helpful in the coordination of everything, and their installers, Oakly and Jordan, did an amazing job of installing all the appliances and took the time to explain the operation to us. They were quick and efficient and cleaned up and took all the packaging with them. We will definitely use MN Plumbing for all our future needs!!!"

"When I called them I had already purchased a light fixture for above the kitchen sink, however, it turned out to be the wrong kind for the current electrical setup. Jason, the technician suggested an LED fixture, which they could provide, and gave me the installed price. I didn't have another day off from work for a couple weeks. Jason suggested he could come back some evening the week following his initial call and make the installation. We agreed on the following Tuesday. He arrived shortly before I did with the new fixture and installed it promptly. He even suggested that I could use the fixture I had purchased to replace the ceiling light on my front porch, which was basically just a bare bulb. I agreed and he took care of that as well. The whole installation took about half an hour. Great Job!"

"The fence Hal built around my property in South Minneapolis is absolutely beautiful.  For the price listed, he removed my old, rusted chain link fence and installed a custom, hand-built fence around the entire back yard. Unlike other fence builders with whom I met, Hal makes the fence himself, piece-by-piece, and puts everything together on location.
Construction took a few weeks due to a thoroughly disappointing situation with the neighbors as well as very frequent rain, but Hal always returned my phone calls and kept me updated.  He also responded professionally and kindly to a last-minute change in design.  I simply love spending time in my new backyard!  I couldn?t be happier with the work Hal has done on my property."

"The cleaners cleaned woodwork,   pictures,   thoroughly dusted and vacuumed behind furniture pieces,   cleaned toilets,  bathtub,  showers,   floors,  lighting fixtures,   stove,   kitchen sinks and countertops,   and just had the house looking better than I had imagined.     They did all of this in a short time and they accomplished so much.   As I mentioned,   each cleaning person had a role and quickly, thoroughly  and efficiently did his/ her work.  The owners are very cooperative trying hard to fit me in whenever I need work done.   They have worked hard to please and certainly deserve an A+ in everything they do.  I highly recommend they get   top ranking.   We did find them on Angie's List and couldn't be happier with both their work and the effort put in to please the customer.

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

Track lighting features multiple light fixtures attached to a linear track, allowing adjustable positioning and easy addition or removal of lights. It offers flexibility and is ideal for highlighting specific areas or objects. Rail lighting, a subtype of track lighting, utilizes a curved or flexible rail instead of a straight track. This design allows for more versatile light placement.

The process of installing a pendant light is actually quite simple. If you’ve ever learned how to install a light fixture of any kind, you’ll already know what to do. Pendant light installation consists of connecting wires from your home circuit to the fixture, securely installing it to a mounting bracket in the ceiling, and assembling the rest of the light—simple as that. If you’re not sure about installing your own lights, you can always get in touch with a local light installation company to lend a hand.

Installing recessed lights requires you to cut holes in the ceiling, create an electrical wiring connection, install the fixture, and connect it to your service panel. It should only be done by those with electrical skills, due to the safety concerns it presents.

If you feel uneasy about taking it on yourself, it’s recommended to contact a local technician to complete the installation for you.

You can install a ceiling light fixture using a similar process to the one described in this guide. Ceiling lights can have added difficulty because of their location. Working on a ladder with your head tipped back and your arms in the air isn't ideal, but with big projects come big rewards.

Generally speaking, you can install one recessed light for every 4 to 6 square feet. A 12x12 room is 144 square feet, which would need 24 to 36 recessed lights. The wattage you use for the light bulbs and the height of your ceilings can also impact the number of recessed lights you need for a 12x12 room.
