"I've worked with this company before and they were prompt, punctal and provided very good service. I had worked with the person they sent (Ben), and he was quick and efficient. I saved up a few jobs to make the trip charge worthwhile. Ben completed most of the jobs quickly and efficiently. There were unforeseen problems mounting one light over the garage door and we had to schedule a follow-up visit to complete the work. They understood that I needed the work done in time to host a graduation party and they made by project a priority. I appreciated their service."

I've had self-employed contractors with chips on their shoulders come and go as they please, not show up when they are supposed to, do incomplete work, etc. Anthony was ALWAYS here when he said he would be, which created more trust in what he said he could do and he actually listened to what I said and treated me with respect (as a woman, huge for me!). He helped make work what I wanted to have done and the work was QUALITY work. No corners were cut, if anything, he went above and beyond. You can truly see the pride in his work. Even with that understanding, Al Lien came and independently reviewed the damage and said HW would be happy to hold their position as a contingent contractor. "Overall we were satisfied with the quality of the job but we did run into some issues. Sam said it would take 2 days to complete but it ended up taking 6 full days. Unfortunately I had to use a lot more vacation to be home for this than I anticipated. We ran into some issues with the sub-contractors. One guy got nothing done the day he was there and then never showed up the next day. To Sam's credit, he called in another framer and the work was started as soon as possible. The quality was decent but we ended up having to fix some spots ourselves and add some extra framing to make the areas aesthetically pleasing. The crew members were all polite and cleaned up after themselves, which I always appreciate. Sam is very easy to work with and very professional. He takes his business seriously and has high expectations of his crew. Despite the issues we encountered we were still happy with the work and the price."

They worked closely with us and the insurance company to carefully budget the work to be undertaken.
During the work itself they directed sub-contractors and sought our approval for those sub-contractors' performance.
GCM warranted the work per professional standards.
There was a problem with securing the work on time and also a problem in bringing back a contractor to complete part of the work. GCM made good on what the sub-contractor failed to complete.
Years ago we learned the hard way that storm-chasing contractors and laborers come and go with the weather.  Now we insist that our insurance carrier works with the contractors we know and trust to do the work well.

"Paramount Granite Company was a joy to work with! They offered an incredibly reasonable and detailed estimate (including options and their costs) within a day. When I visited their offices, I was treated with respect and courtesy. Barb answered my questions and showed me their slabs of granite (as well as the sinks and faucets they offer). I had already viewed slabs of granite at the various warehouses, but they had some beautiful pieces to choose from. I ended up picking a gorgeous piece of St. Cecelia granite from their selection, which just happened to be in the least expensive category.
The whole process was made easy by Angie's prompt and helpful responses to my emails. Paramount was flexible with my schedule when we needed to postpone the installation by a week. On the day of installation, the workers arrived on time and worked quickly and excellently. I was impressed when they discovered (from a spec sheet they brought along) that the particular slide-in range we had chosen needed rounded corners for the opening. The worker finished the job except for this part, drove back to the office and returned within the hour with the rounded piece to complete the job perfectly!
Paramount Granite Company is a first-rate company. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends. I am simply thrilled with my countertops and the excellent experience I had with Paramount.

"Estimator came and described the fence options.  Competitive pricing for privacy fence.  Contractors completed work per schedule.  After fence was put up cracks appeared in multiple locations and bowing of fence walls created gaps in this new privacy fence. 
Owner came over and observed situation in a few days after contact for these issues, said $100 extra for labor to remove bowed fence walls that were creating gaps.  Not sure why they include this option up front or they could have let me know they were giving me a cheaper option up front (not sure why they would even offer) and then let me know this would have been needed anyways for true quality privacy.  Repair work was done promptly.  IMO its a good price, quality experience was a bit meh, but they give 5yr warranty on parts/workmanship so they'll come back and fix it up in a prompt manner either way.

"This is the second job where we've hired Garden Structures and we could not be happier with the work Hal and crew did. The new fences are a simple design but perfectly attractive. Moreover, they are solidly built (that is a high priority for me).

As with our last experience, we found Hal's attention to detail is remarkable. And he is a real problem solver. He first worked to understand our goals and then worked with us to devise a solution. Now, with the structures in place, I feel a sense of relief in our yard. The other part of the job was creating an entry gate for the arbor he previously built. Again, he took our feedback and the result is a unique gate that is now the pleasing focal point of the structure.
