"I was looking for someone to come and take my 55 inch screen TV away from me becauseI didn’t have a way to bring it to be disposed of appropriately.Jeremiah was one of five companies that reached out to me, and he was the only one that came up with the price that I could afford, because he was in the area he said he could grab it as well. Other companies said they were in the area as well, but they still were going to charge me as much as if they were taking larger items and many of them. I cannot thank Jeremiah enough for being so considerate and kind. I don’t know if Jeremiah realizes how much that meant to me, but it meant the world to me to see such kindness. He helped me out tremendously. I would definitely recommend Jeremiah‘s company to anybody who needs some help. His heart is in the right place. Thank you again Jeremiah. ❤️"

"The rock installation in my flower bed and around my trees looks excellent! They cleaned up the mulch, removed the overgrown grass, and installed edging for the rock. Great job!"

"After my Father's unexpected passing, my Mom has been left with all the house duties that her used to take care of for her. I decided to find a service to help for the winter with snow removal and I couldn't be happier with these guys. Every time it snows they come out to clear the snow automatically and they do a great job. I plan to have them help this summer with lawn mowing also."

"service was great and so was the price. contractor who did the work was very pleasant and professional. the only thing is he accidently cut down my baby lilac bush. it was just in the twig stage with about 20 leaves on it so it might have looked like a weed. otherwise, this contractor was fast and clean. would love to have him back. :)"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

The safest way to remove lead-based paint is by letting a professional take over. For most people, lead paint removal costs an average of $3,400. You should never attempt to dry sand old lead-based paint surfaces by hand. Most professionals use a paint stripper to do the job followed by wet scraping, but if you don’t want to remove lead paint, another option is to paint over it. Only consider this option if the old lead paint finish isn’t flaking or cracked.

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), hazardous waste is generally classified into four main categories:

1. Characteristic Wastes: These exhibit at least one of four hazardous traits: ignitability (flammable, like gasoline), corrosivity (can rust or decompose materials, like car batteries), reactivity (unstable and can explode, like aerosol cans), or toxicity (harmful when ingested, like lead-based paint).

2. Listed Wastes: These are specific wastes from manufacturing and industrial processes that the EPA has officially designated as hazardous. They include byproducts from processes that use solvents, pesticides, and other chemicals.

3. Universal Wastes: These are commonly generated hazardous items that are subject to streamlined regulations. Examples include batteries, pesticides, mercury-containing equipment (e.g., bulbs), and some lamps.

4. Mixed Wastes: This category includes waste that contains both hazardous and radioactive components, making it subject to regulation by both the EPA and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

You can paint over lead paint, or “encapsulate” it with a special paint that includes an ingredient called an encapsulant. The EPA approves encapsulation as a lead paint removal method as long as the paint remains undisturbed. Standard types of paint without an “encapsulant” from the big box stores or hardware stores do not meet EPA standards for remediation of lead-based paint.

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.
