After stripping the deck there were a few more boards where some rotting was identified and Barak and his team replaced them promptly. Stain looks great and made an immediate difference. I had been contemplating if my 20 year old deck was too far gone and needed replacing... but after seeing what Barak could do with stripping the old paint off, replacing some bad boards, and staining... I'm very glad I chose to do this rather than replacement."

"We hired Jake Servais and his company on 11/26/18 to do snow removal for the season for $500. The first time the weather required snow removal they never showed up, and then called to say they were having mechanical issues and would it be ok if they didn't come (only about 2" of snow so I said ok). They did come 1x and remove some snow in late December. Then, on Monday (1/28), we got significant snowfall while we were out of town. I was assured via text from Jake they would be on it, as we had grandparents watching our kids. We had NO SERVICE. And then I went searching to see if we had been victim of fraud by this company. I found Jake Servais facebook page where he lists in early January the sale of all his snow equipment. I have no idea what is going on, but have made multiple attempts by email, phone and facebook messenger to connect and have got NO RESPONSE. I am looking into calling the police and want a refund of our $500."

And with less overhead we can devote more of our time making sure that your project is getting our FULL attention. We do sub-contract to companies if needed but mainly do our own work to ensure there is no middle men and the prices stay fair. Billing is usually done on a per project decision depending on the situation of the homeowner. And for some clients financing plans are available. Please keep in mind if possible that with being a smaller company the demand may become high during parts of the season so there may be some delays in getting your project started. We try our best to get estimates out within 24 hours and there may be some lag times in phone responses due to getting many phone calls during the busy season. If for some reason you feel that your job may have fallen through the cracks please do not hesitate to call us for a reminder. For the second time, the evening before a scheduled work project which was on a tight timeline, I got a text from a brother I had not dealt with who told me that their minimum charge for ANY service visit was $1500. As it turned out it took them less than 45 minutes to cut the cement. I think it should’ve cost me less than $100. I had to negotiate hard to pay just $750. These guys have changed unfortunately – and not for the better. Never again."

"Several years ago, a friend of the family had some landscaping done by Living Space Landscapes and recommended them to me. My wife and I worked with them on a full-scale re-design of our back yard after I accidentally killed all our grass by over-fertilizing it. Whoops. Oh well, the backyard needed a lot of work anyway and this provided a good excuse for us to do it right. Scott Solomonson stopped by to discuss the project and listened carefully to our goals for the space and discussed our options. A few weeks later he provided us with a design, including a patio, and after some back and forth we decided to move forward with the project. Now, years later, we still couldn’t be happier. The plantings and trees have all grown in and it looks awesome! That summer and fall, and every spring, summer and fall since, our patio and backyard becomes our second living room. In the fall of 2020, we reached out to Scott again to do some landscaping in our front yard this this time. We wanted to add a sitting space and landscape the surrounding area. This time Megan stopped out to discuss the project, our goals, our budget and the timeline. After a few weeks she came by with the design and after some refinements and tweaks, we agreed to have the work done in the spring of 2021. As agreed, early that spring Scott and his awesome crew stopped by and again and did a great job! That was around 10 months ago now and we are really looking forward to being outside again as we watch another St. Paul, Minnesota winter melt into the Mississippi."
