"After getting a bid from Cady this summer, I hired them to do some work on my house (clean gutters, install gutter covers I'd purchased and fix a piece of siding). They agreed to do the work on September 10 at 1:00 p.m. They didn't show, and they didn't return my calls over the next couple of days. I felt they wasted my time. I gave them an F rating here and moved on to look for other handyman companies. Except that finding another company turned out to be easier said than done (the ones I contacted didn't serve my area or didn't want to do work on a 2-story house or were booked for months). A week later, my contact at Cady called to apologize. He said he'd gone out of town and the people back at the office dropped the ball. He offered to do the work for a reduced fee. Their sales associate (Al Lien) was knowledgeable and helpful, but no pressure, which I personally appreciate very much. They had a range of options, and in the end we chose to use HardiPlank which was less expensive than LP at the time of our project. The Hoffman Weber price was very competitive (and significantly lower than the high-pressure company that came out). The installation went well--the crew was hard working and pleasant, and communication with the project manager (Pete) was easy (the installation was done in February, so, weather affected the days of installation). "Two man crew and a supervisor occasionally showed up, but the two men were BETTER then i had every anticipated.
I'm not sure how long the two men that installed my eGress have been doing this kind of work, or how long they have been working for Greene Construction Inc, but they have been trianed in great.
They took very good care of my home and of my property, the detail of the exterior and the interior is a wonderful addition to my home.
 I had choice to go with a wooden treated exterior WELL , instead of the metal one, so again the two men crew hand dug the hole, CUT a hole into my house, as i came and went, I seen them use what seem to be 3 different types insulation around the window, some kind of thick tape, some kind of wired sticky expanding foam, and what ever else, and small pebbles rocks which are about 10 inchs below the very bottom of the new installed eGress window.
Just two days after the job, we had some serious rain, and i had no fear to my home, but 3 hours after the rain had stop, I went to the exterior to check just how the new WELL had head up, if it had any water pooled, and as the crew told me, there should not be, and there was none.
SO would i use Greene Construction Inc, again, YES, would i recommend to friends or others, YES.
