Tile and plaster 3 inches thick; square, heavy bathtub that need to be removed; galvanized steel pipes with years of corrosion blocking water flow. They had great suggestions for improvements and helped us stay within our budget while still taking care of the things that needed to be done. They were prompt and worked quickly; the only hiccup was on our side with a delivery issue, and they were able to work around it and keep the project rolling. Bob and his team were upfront with us on everything, and I felt that I had a clear idea of how the project was moving along, next steps, and the timeline for completion. Communication was never an issue, whether via email, phone, or text. And my super picky Father in Law has even complemented the great tile work!"

Your garbage disposal is not draining because it might have a clog due to food waste, a foreign object, grease, oil, fat, or it may have a broken motor. When water doesn't flush out of the disposal, that's a key sign that your disposal has a clog or needs repair.
If you’re not using a septic system, problems with your home’s plumbing won’t cause this—it’s a city problem. A large blockage in the municipal sewage lines may cause those lines to back up into your home. This is extremely unpleasant and can be a serious health risk due to bacteria and other contaminants. Conventional drain cleaners, like you might buy at the grocery store, use bleach (sodium hydroxide) as the main ingredient. On the contrary, biodegradable drain cleaners use gentler ingredients such as baking soda, vinegar, and boiling water to clear out drains.
Bleach is extremely corrosive and releases harmful gasses—hence the need for wearing safety protections like rubber gloves, eye goggles, face masks, and long sleeves and properly ventilating the room while using bleach. Biodegradable cleaners, however, don’t use bleach. Therefore they are safer to use, especially if you have a house full of children.
If you don’t have a sewer cleanout, clearing out clogs can be extremely difficult. You would need to try to clear the clog from sink drains, but it can be harder to reach the clog all the way in the drain line. A sewer cleanout makes it much faster and easier for pros to clear clogs from your main sewer line.
If the drain is frozen, the pipes connecting to the washing machine are likely frozen. If the hot water trick doesn’t also unfreeze the washing machine pipes, you can gently apply heat with a hair dryer on the lowest setting. Start at the end of the pipe closest to the faucet to prevent pressure from building in the pipes, and make sure the faucet is open to drain the water as it melts.
