"Though more accomplished than expected, the workers surprised me with a failed result. They couldn't put the project back together correctly; everyone saw something was off. Outside the stall looked fine, but the tile they "replaced" was actually the original, just poorly handled. They left the last row unfinished after hitting a curve hard and breaking the tile apart. Instead of using a diamond saw for a clean $400 straight cut, they took a shortcut that ruined the piece. The tile broke jaggedly, so they tried to hide the damage by burying the break line under piles of caulk and extra material. Now, the fracture is "leaking" through the mess. Worse, they left a metal tool inside the assembly, blocking water flow. While the drain placement was okay, the plumbing is now a disaster. They tore up the floor unnecessarily when they could have just cut small plugs around the pipe, swapped the plastic, and used thinnest Because of their "gung-ho" attitude and lack of communication."

"We are re-doing our master bath ourselves and were at stand-still because we realized we didn't know how to proceed with connecting our new Schluter drain piece to our existing plumbing. There was very limited access via a whole we had previously cut in the kitchen soffit on the floor below. Justin was awesome! He took the time to view bits of You-tubes we had that showed how the Schluter system works...then he worked in the tight space (saved us from having to rip up the sub-floor upstairs!!) to cut out a bit of old PVC, replaced it with new, and connected our drain piece to the newly installed PVC. He even cleaned out a bit of debris that had been sitting in the trap, tested to be sure water would freely flow and that there were no leaks, and cleaned up everything.
