"It's been a little over a year since Everdry finished waterproofing our basement. We liked everyone we worked with throughout the project. We have been so pleased with their work. They use a Multi Step System which keeps ground water away from your home. The installation of the EZ Breathe Ventilation System is a game changer too. Plus - Lifetime, transferable warranty!"

"I live in Griffith, Indiana, in an area with loamy soil and a high water table. Whenever it rained heavy we were sure to get seepage in our basement. There was one drain in the floor and when it rained a lot, water would seep in from all four walls, getting the whole floor wet. I had to put evrything up on blocks. So when we got a door-hanger offer for a free inspection from Everdry, we responded and called for an appointment. After the inspection the Everdry agent told us that our foundation walls had a 56% moisture saturation and the floor was at 88% saturation, that our damp basement was attracting insects, and that we had active mold growth. There was pressure fracturing in places on foundation walls, and that two of our foundation walls had footing coves that were blocked. In summary, there was no protection inside and no protection outside. Needless to say, we were extremely concerned about the condition of our seeping basement. Understanding the importance of protecting the investment that is our home, we had Everdry do the work to solve our problem. I knew we were going to need something more robust to manage water flow, than just a single basement floor drain, so I was glad to hear that Everdry installs a pressure relief pump to actively expel water buildup below the foundation. We also liked the idea of their Smart Power Back-up Unit, that keeps the pressure relief pump working, even if the electricity shuts down during a storm. It's been several years since Everdry completed the work in our basement, and I'm happy to report that our seepage problem has been solved, even during the heaviest of rain storms. Thanks Everdry"

"The weather was cold with light snow but they still were able to do a quality installation. They were very thorough with attention to detail while still doing their job quickly. Clean up was good, dirt and grass were replaced to cover underground drain pipes. Great job, would use this company again."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

While sometimes used interchangeably, screen doors and storm doors have key differences. Screen doors are simple structures, typically composed of just a frame and a screen, designed to keep out bugs while allowing air circulation. In contrast, storm doors are heavier and more complex, built to protect your home's main entry door from weather and intruders. They usually feature an aluminum frame with interchangeable tempered glass and screen panels, allowing you to switch between ventilation and insulation. A storm door offers more protection and versatility but generally costs more than a basic screen door.

If you’re installing hurricane ties, consider other storm-proofing projects. You could call a window pro to install storm windows, get in touch with a door installer to add storm doors, or just ask your hurricane tie installer what other projects they’d recommend you get done at the same time.

Professionals ensure energy efficiency, enhanced security, and compliance with ADA and fire safety regulations.

Yes, modular homes are typically safe for areas prone to hurricanes. In regions at risk of severe storms, local zoning guidelines often require that these dwellings be built using materials designed to endure strong winds and heavy rainfall, ensuring they meet the safety standards for such conditions.

Outswing doors are more popular for exterior doors as they offer more room for moving items in and out of a home. And because the hinges are on the outside of the door, they’re more secure against potential break-ins. But, outswing doors are more susceptible to the elements and are more expensive. Comparing inswing vs. outswing doors depends on your budget, needs, and overall preference.
