"I live in Griffith, Indiana, in an area with loamy soil and a high water table. Whenever it rained heavy we were sure to get seepage in our basement. There was one drain in the floor and when it rained a lot, water would seep in from all four walls, getting the whole floor wet. I had to put evrything up on blocks. So when we got a door-hanger offer for a free inspection from Everdry, we responded and called for an appointment. After the inspection the Everdry agent told us that our foundation walls had a 56% moisture saturation and the floor was at 88% saturation, that our damp basement was attracting insects, and that we had active mold growth. There was pressure fracturing in places on foundation walls, and that two of our foundation walls had footing coves that were blocked. It went well. My only complaint is that I was very specific weeks in advance which work i wanted done after the guy came out to see everything. I wanted nearly everything they bid on, including gas log sets.  For some reason they seemed unaware of that detail so I had to wait an additional week and schedule a second day to wait for that to be installed. They have certain guys who do certain types of work, so you may be waiting for several different employees to come and do the work at different times.  Never having had a chimney repaired or even know what a Mason does, this was all new to me.

They called in advanced and let me know when they were coming.  They were neat and cleaned up after themselves and had tarps to protect my floor so everything was tidy when they left and no debris was left behind.  Everyone was polite. They answered all my questions and made sure I undertood how everything worked.  The ladies in the office seem to organize everything. I was not aware that I had to pay an extra 2% to use my credit card and was not prepared for that. They did a good job and I would call them again

The flashing on my chimney is rather unattractive since it shows on the front of my house.  Since I am going to paint soon, I may take the color into consideration to hide it. Apparently there is no way to make it less obvious.  I now have two safe, working fireplaces and have peace of mind.  Im thrilled I dont need to light the gas line with a match anymore and simplly turn a knob and have warmth and glow.
