"Needed a chimney repair due to leaking into our garage and Aiden contacted us very quickly to give us a quote. Aiden was very interested in helping us fix the chimney leak and communication was great during our initial conversation. The team of two quickly accessed where the leak was coming from and repaired the top of the chimney and sealed around the flashing and a few other spots on the roof that needed attention. Aiden sent before and after pics to me while I was at work and he communicated clearly to my mother and was very respectful and explained everything that they did on the roof. Aiden also followed up with me personally to see if any leaks had occurred since the repair. None have occurred which is great! Highly recommend DNL Commercial Roofing Company for any repairs needed on any type of roof."

"For two months I looked for someone willing to do a structural deck repair. No one wanted the job, no one followed-up. Then I found Craig. He looked at the situation, formulated a reasonable solution at a reasonable price. The job was completed in less than a day to my complete satifaction. He and his son even washed down my deck when they were done."

"As an Ann Arbor resident, I was very impressed with Ann Arbor Handyman Services. They were responsive, arrived on time, explained the work clearly, and treated my home with care. The repairs were completed efficiently, the workmanship was excellent, and everything was cleaned up before they left. "We will hire him again! It's refreshing to find a professional who responds quickly, and does a superb job. He removed, repaired our rotted soffit and removed and repaired a facia board. Painted both and found the problem related to both issues. We will use him again !"

Small jobs welcome

I’m 36 year old, have been doing mainly industrial maintenance the past 6 years or so. Love fixing and putting together all kinds of different things. Not as experienced with home improvements but I have done my fair share, and am never afraid to take on a challenge. I can say that no matter what you throw at me, I will find a way to complete the job and make sure the customer is satisfied.

To prevent sagging, consider both the material and the span of the shelf. Using sturdy materials such as plywood or solid wood can provide better support than particleboard. Additionally, limiting the shelf span to 36 inches or less can reduce the risk of sagging. For longer shelves, incorporating center supports or brackets can offer additional reinforcement.

There are a few reasons that a drawer won't come out. Most of the time, there's an obstruction of some sort preventing the drawer from acting normally. The key to figuring out the problem is investigation and patience.

If possible, open the drawer as far as it will go and shine a flashlight inside to see if something in the drawer is hitting the cabinet frame. Or, remove a drawer above or below the offending one and use the flashlight to investigate the drawer slides. Discovering the cause will likely provide the necessary information to develop a solution.

Paper moving pads, also called furniture wrapping paper or paper moving blankets, are sheets of recycled paper used to protect various items during moving. Similar to traditional moving blankets, paper pads are also reusable, making them a sustainable and cost-effective option for protecting your belongings during the moving process. Although they’re recycled, they still provide excellent protection against dust, dirt, and scratches.

Repairing furniture is cost-effective, and it's a great way to preserve sentimental pieces, while also reducing environmental impact.

Professionals conduct lamp repair by diagnosing the issue, addressing electrical problems, replacing damaged parts, rewiring if needed, and testing to ensure safe operation.
