"We had a basement that always had water in it almost year round. We decided to sell the house and move to North Carolina. "Went OK. They did the work and it 'mostly worked' when they were done. I say mostly because the pressure valve was blowing off of the boiler when they were done (This was NOT happening before they had done the work). I had noticed this the day after I had paid. I contacted them and they wanted to replace the expansion tank and charge me $200. I asked - shouldn't this be covered under the initial work of $4600? They said the part wasn't explicitly in the quote. Frankly at this point to replace what really was a $40 part and half hour of time to do a fully finished job (for $4600). For 1. How am I supposed to know (as a customer) what should be on the quote for a fully finished job (pumps, piping, etc? - they are the expert) 2. How am I supposed to know this isnt their fault. (Shouldnt an autofilling expansion tank be connected to the incoming water supply?) Frankly not standing fully behind their work and making sure they do everything to do a good, finished job - left a 'bad' taste in my mouth. In the end I replaced the auto-filling expansion tank with an Extrol expansion tank for $40 and it took me less than an hour. After that it all appears to work."

"Although the job took a bit longer than anticipated, I was very satisfied with the quality of the job. Jason has very high expectations for himself, individuals that work for him, and a job done to the highest standard. So only hire A Cap Plumbing if you want no corners cut and the project done at it's best. In addition to the work described, Jason removed an old tub only (no shower) and toilet. He installed a new toilet and surround tub/shower. He disposed of the old tub and toilet along with all the packaging of the new. Since the old tub did not have a shower, he added the additional plumbing needed and the new shower head along with a new control value for the shower/tub. Also, he installed a new facet for the bathroom sink and replaced 2 outdoor spigots with self draining frost protected spigots. All of the above was included in the price stated."
