"They renovated and remodeled outbuildings into a fully functional dwelling. Great crew to work with excellent craftsmanship at a reasonable price. Completed the project in a timely fashion. I would work with them again. I highly recommend them. In fact, I already have, and my friends were also pleased."

"I love it! Framing and hanging sliding doors that separated kitchen from living room. This is a project that I have wanted to do for a long time and finally got it completed. I own a manufactured home (or as it is called now a mobile home). These homes usually have unique openings and require customized or special orders. John was extremely helpful and brought my vision of what I wanted into reality. He also provided some suggestions which proved to be extremely beneficial. He was quick and efficient with his work. John framed the space from floor to ceiling. John did framing, molding and trim, dry wall (in the space above the doors on both sides), sanded and painted. I will definitely use him in the future and highly recommend this service."

"We hired Alan recently to re-drywall part of our basement that needed to be re-finished after having some water issues during the heavy rains last spring. The wall looks great, and Alan did a great job. He was good to work with, fair on price, got the project done in a timely fashion, and we would use his services again."

Treehouse Builders questions, answered by experts

Schedule greenhouse and nursery service before the spring rush hits. Local professionals become heavily booked by early March, so secure your appointment in January or February. Watch for clear indicators like condensation damage, frost cracking on panels, or standing water after a Sparta snowmelt. Addressing these issues early ensures your structure is fully prepared for the upcoming growing season.

Helpful?

Several layout factors complicate greenhouse and nursery service. Attached structures must safely support roof load transfers from your existing home. North-facing lots or heavy tree canopies reduce essential solar gain during cloudy Sparta winters. Sloped terrain requires grading before installation. Additionally, evaluate your electrical panel capacity for heating loads and ensure all outdoor water supply lines are properly insulated against freezing.

Helpful?

When planning greenhouse and nursery service, prioritize materials rated for high snow loads. Polycarbonate panels provide excellent insulation for cold MI winters and handle freeze-thaw cycles better than glass. Use galvanized or powder-coated steel for framing to resist humidity. For raised beds, choose concrete blocks or stone over thin wood, as they withstand ground frost penetration and prevent heaving.

Helpful?

Proper greenhouse and nursery service requires strict seasonal maintenance. Manage heavy winter snow loads by promptly clearing flat roof sections to prevent structural overload. Inspect glazing seals and caulking annually to repair damage from freeze-thaw cycles. During humid MI summers, maintain your ventilation and shading systems to prevent fungal diseases. Always winterize irrigation lines and test backup heaters before the first fall frost.

Helpful?

Build a reliable inspection routine for greenhouse and nursery service by aligning tasks with the changing seasons. Check glazing panels and frame connections for snow stress in late winter. Inspect foundations and seals for frost heave damage throughout early spring. Test all automated ventilation systems before summer heat arrives. Finally, winterize irrigation lines and confirm heating systems operate perfectly before the first Sparta frost.
