"Dan did an excellent job cleaning the exterior of our home as well as our wooden deck and stone patio. We had a lot of moss growing on our roof that he helped remove by spraying it with a solution that killed the moss and allowed it to dry up and fall off over a matter of weeks. Dan was extremely professional and friendly and explained everything he was going to do beforehand. He arrived on time and charged exactly what was quoted. I will definitely use his service in the future!"

"The company has remodeled my master bathroom with quality jobs recently. The technicians are very knowledgeable and experienced. The best part I like is the customer service. Whenever I call and no matter what I want to talk, I can get reply with all the information I need. When I asked for reconnecting one of the water lines, they spent a lot of extra effort to let it done in a timely manner."

"Joe and his crew patched and painted the entire interior of our home and did a fantastic job! We live in a different state and after our tenant moved out, we were ready to put our long-rented house on the market. We got a lot of quotes for the work, but ultimately trusted Joe with the job. We appreciated his expert advice that struck the appropriate balance for keeping the job economical for us, but still ensuring that the work was done right for the future owners. He was efficient, trustworthy and great about keeping us posted on his progress. The before and after pictures from our realtor (and 5 offers over list price!) spoke volumes about the quality of work that Joe and his crew do. The house looked amazing when he was finished."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

Sandblasting refers to the process of cleaning a surface using compressed air and aggregate. Soda blasting is the gentlest type of this method, but it differs from sandblasting that uses mineral or other aggregate, since sodium bicarbonate breaks apart more easily than other forms of blast media and, therefore, cannot be reused.

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.
