We have the experience and we are committed to providing quality workmanship and superior customer service on all our applications. We at Eagle Fencing strive to maintain our reputation as a high quality, very service oriented company with our main focus being customer satisfaction. We are a locally owned and operated tree service that offers the best pricing for your needs. We can work on tree projects both large and small with precision, safety, and efficiency. We offer tree services, tree removal, and tree trimming.

"My wife and I had a Silver Maple tree (that was WAY too close to our mobile home) that had a rather large limb break off and it was being held up by smaller limbs (see attached pic). I contacted Nik (his real 1st name, not Matthew) and he came out and did a great job in getting it down safely with nothing hitting our home! He even cleaned up other broke limbs from the tree that I didn't know were up there as well! He's a nice man and easy to talk to. He did a GREAT job and I would hire him again in an instant!!!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Although many tree roots will continue to grow after the tree has been cut, there are a handful of exceptions to this rule. While species like elms, ficus, and willows have roots that will regrow with a vengeance, pine, oak, and maple roots will die when they’re cut down. If you’re not sure what kind of tree roots you’re dealing with, there’s a simple way to find out. New sprouts on old trunks, stumps, or exposed roots are a sign that the root system is still hard at work.

If the tree is very small—under 4 or 5 inches in diameter—and you’re experienced handling a chainsaw, you may be able to cut down the tree on your own, provided there’s plenty of room for it to fall.

However, felling even small trees can be dangerous, and it’s always advisable to have a spotter on hand. This will help make sure the tree doesn’t fall the wrong way or that branches aren’t about to fall on you while you’re working.

You may need permission to take a tree down. Check with your local ordinances about rules regarding tree removal and to gain any necessary permits. Check with your local ordinances or the fire department if you plan to burn the stump. Make sure you have all the steps in place before removing the tree, or contact a local tree removal service.

The exact answer to this question depends on which region of the country you’re talking about, but according to various tree counts, some of the most common types of trees in the United States include red maple, Douglas fir, quaking aspen, loblolly pine, and sweetgum.

If a disease has attacked and destroyed the roots, then the tree may fall over as soon as it has died or while part of it is still alive. Trees that die with their roots left in place tend to stay standing for much longer, but those roots will decay eventually, allowing gravity to do the rest.
