They were fantastic start to finish. Kept me informed of their progress as the movers got closer to my house. They handled all my things with care and respect. They moved swiftly but carefully, were chereful and kind to myself and the cats. Even took things down to the storage locker in the underground garage. 5 star all around. Nate made sure from the office that i was satisfied every step of the way.

If you require a long distance move. IE greater than 40 miles from loading to unloading point. Ask for a 200 - 300lbs "estimate" This company, Christian Stowers and Nate Hoekstra, overestimated my load by a factor of 3 and expected full payment.

Our Hoekstra moving crew was experienced, polite, professional and worked extremely hard. They thoroughly prepped and wrapped all of our furniture and I am happy to say they did not damage any of our items in the move. They experienced an unexpected truck issue right when they were about to head to our new destination and they problem solved it to ensure we got our items moved in. I would use them again any day!

After living in the same place for 10 years, we recently moved and decided to use a moving company for the first time. Since we love supporting local businesses, we found Hookstra Moving Company online and were impressed right from the start. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating with our constantly changing schedule.
On moving day, the team arrived on time and worked tirelessly for 13 hours to get everything moved. We were amazed by their efficiency and energy, especially given the long hours—they hardly took a break (just a quick 15-minute lunch!) and powered through the entire day. Maybe the Red Bull helped, but their dedication was clear regardless!

We just used Hoekstra Moving company to move into our new home and we could not be happier with the results. The whole experience start to finish was better than we could have ever expected. I had shopped around a bit and landed on two possible moving companies. I called the first and the customer service wasn’t all that great so I decided to call Hoekstra and got on the phone with a gentleman named Nate (who I think is the owner). He was super friendly and great about the entire process. Fast forward to moving day and the two guys who showed up (Nick and Shawn) were as friendly as can be and got right to work. Having friendly people who have strong customer service skills help you move is huge because you are likely going to be spending hours with them. They took great care of all of our things and finished faster than they quoted me. The pricing was significantly cheaper than anticipated and cheaper than the other moving companies quoted us. Highly reccomend!!!

Angi set me up with Hoekstra and another company numbers on Sunday night. Hoekstra called right away sunday night to see if they could help. I needed the stuff picked up the next day and the quote they gave me was great. We got everything scheduled for the next day. They let me know when they arrived to pick the items up and when they were on the way to deliver. Nice respectful and quick...I will definitely recommend them to anyone! Thanks Guys!

We used Hoekstra moving in early August. I was quoted for 4 moves, but only had 3 on the day of the move. Moving out took way longer than expected. To make matters worse, I was charged 60% more than the quoted amount. I haven't been able to speak to anyone at Hoekstra about this because they won't return my calls. This feels like a bait-and-switch. I'd look elsewhere if I needed to hire a moving company. Moving is hard. You don't need them to make it any worse.
