There needs to be an A++ for this business! We purchased our house a couple of years ago and the front and back yards were both a wreck in every way (lawn, trees, randomly planted shrubs, weeds). There were multiple evergreens in the front yard physically touching the house, a bunch of randomly planted (like 7) trees in the back yard that looked terrible, invasive species and vines growing up into the trees/shrubs that we wanted to keep. I set up an appointment, got an estimate on Monday and Wednesday at 9 a.m. the work was done (removed all trees and shrubs, ground down stumps, put everything in the woodchopper on site and turned it to mulch. Everyone was courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, punctual - I could not have had a better experience. Everything was neat, tidy and looked great when they left. I highly recommend this company - I was so impressed that I told them that they need to charge more for the work they do (my husband had asked someone else for an estimate, and got a quote that was 10 times the amount we paid for about 25% of the work that they did). ! I also like that it is a nice family-owned local business. This will be our go to tree company as long as our family lives in the Lansing area. WOW.

I've hired Wiseman Tree services twice, once for removing small trees and once for trimming large trees in my yard. Service was quoted accurately and performed on time. They left me wood chips as requested with the remnants of one job as well as cut wood or they can haul away. Best tree service I've ever used!

We had a fast call back to set up an appointment; a free estimate was quickly done; and within a week and a half of us giving the go-ahead the tree was gone! The crew arrived and got right to work. They cleaned up debris, thoroughly, as they went along. A VERY large tree was gone and the yard cleaned up in a short amount of time. We are very pleased and would recommend Mark Mayhoe and his crew to anyone. Thank you for a great job!

Our Homeowners Association (HOA) regularly has tree maintenance needs (adding, removing, trimming, consulting, etc) and we've used Wiseman Tree Experts over the past three years. I would recommend them. I heard about them from my neighbor who recommended them. I was pleased that they readily took the job and waited until my garden was done for the season to avoid any damage to my plants with my little yard space. They also trimmed a tree that was hanging over our driveway for a little additional.

I have never seen a harder working and more safety-conscious group of guys. They were the best price of the estimates we received and the value exceeded the price. Everything went great. Wiseman had done work in our neighborhood and I was impressed with them. I called for pricing, the gentleman came out and gave me a quote. I approved the work. I got a call the next morning telling me that they had an unexpected opening that day, and the crew were there shortly thereafter. Within an hour the tree was down, the stump ground, and the tree was gone. Barely a twig was left behind. The folks in the crew were very efficient and professional.

These people do climbing. My trees are in an area that cannot be reach by big trucks or equipment. I am always grateful for their great skill.

The owner of Wiseman Tree Experts arrived on time with two helpers who did the work that I needed promptly. They did a wonderful job.

I needed several trees removed from my backyard. It was a difficult project since the trees were located on the edge of the lake (which means the ground is often mushy). The crew did an excellent job removing all of them, and even cleaned up everything. This is the second time I have used this company, and am still impressed with their service. I hope I do not have to remove anymore trees, but if I do WiseMan will be who I call. Thank you Mr.Mark and Crew!

It went great. When I called to get an estimate I was surprised that they needed to schedule an appointment to provide the estimate and that it ended up being scheduled a couple weeks out. I expected that they would just drive by when they had a chance and then call me with an estimate. Other than that everything was great. Once they gave me the estimate I told them to go ahead and do the work. They said they should be able to have it done within the next two weeks. I think it was just 2 days later the tree was down and mostly hauled off. They left the large pieces of the trunk and came back the next day to get them. I didn't pay anything until the work was done and clean up was finished.
