We pride our company on reliability, great communication, integrity, and quality work. We are experts in our trade and will do our best to keep you as educated as we can on your particular task or project. We look forward to earning your business! We have professional climbers and a 65ft. Bucket truck. We specialize in hazardous removal and fine pruning. We also specialize in retaining walls (boulders or block). Look forward to working with you.

"I hired Bryan Sorenson from A Cut Above Tree, LLC at the end of April to cut down an 18 oak tree, grind the stump, remove the tree, trim a willow tree, and remove the debris for $1,100. He cut the tree down in 2 sections and had no qualms when I decided I wanted to keep the tree when a friend wanted it to make live edge furniture, Bryan volunteered to split a few of the branches and put the wood on my wood pile which was a few feet from the downed tree. He said HE would be back to grind the stump later that day and take care of the willow trimming. Like a gullible fool I believed him and gave him a check for the full job. After a few contacts with him he sent out someone named Rick that was not informed that the tree was on a hill and he would have to bring his special to grind - but he never showed up again. I tried to reach Bryan by phone and text MANY times to get him to finish the job, but he will not answer. Bryan is a big talker and actor and can cut trees, but does not have good character. He took advantage of me and I will never hire him again or recommend him."

"Good. He did a good job cleaning the windows inside and out, along with the screens and tracks. He was very reasonable, they worked quickly and efficiently, and I would highly recommend him"

Roof Ice and Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Yes, snow should be removed from a deck to protect it from damage caused by moisture and heavy loads. Shovel the snow off of your deck regularly once it is more than four inches deep. Avoid using salt, which can damage your deck.

When starting the engine, you typically leave the choke on a snowblower in the "choke" or "closed" position. After starting, let the engine run for a few minutes to warm up. Then, gradually open the choke, moving it to the "open" or "run" position, allowing more air into the engine and transitioning to a normal fuel-air mixture. The exact duration varies based on the snowblower model and ambient temperature, but as a general rule, you should open the choke once the engine has stabilized and runs smoothly, typically within a few minutes.

Be careful when choosing a product to help you remove ice from your wood deck. Never use sand, gravel, or salt, since these items can damage and scratch the wood. Instead, look for chemical de-icers that are marked as safe for wood decks or use hot water to melt snow and ice.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams, but the best thing to do is address insulation issues in your attic. If you do decide to remove the snow manually, you should always use a roof rake rather than a shovel. You shouldn’t climb your snowy roof in any circumstance, and roof rake allows you to remove the snow from the ground or a ladder. For the best results, remove snow as soon as possible after it falls.

Yes, most states require that snow removal companies be insured under workers' compensation. This protects the employees financially if an injury were to happen (and when dealing with ice and snow, it’s possible that injury could occur). In addition, most states require snow removal companies to be covered under general liability, which would help cover the cost of any property damage incurred during the removal process.
