"The problem turned out to be a burned out small electric door switch. I believe the price was way too expensive for the service performed and the price of the door switch. What more can I say? It got done."

"They arrived right on time. They were courteous and professional. Gave me a quick estimate, which I believe was fair. Upon agreeing to their price, they asked me what settings I wanted on the outdoor sensor lights they were about to install and explained what each did. That depends on your setup. If a circuit breaker already has GFCI protection, then everything connected to that specific circuit is being monitored. You don’t need additional GFCI outlets on that breaker.

However, if the breaker is not GFCI, then you should have GFCI receptacles for at-risk outlets nearby water sources, because they are not receiving protection.
