"Built to Last Construction was recommended to me by a friend who had them remodel her kitchen. First I hired them to paint a steep stairway to the upstairs, along with the upstairs landing (built their own scaffolding) and install railings. Their work was very professional and I can't belief how good it looks! Next I had them completely remodeled the bathroom in coordination with a plumber and electrician. Tom and his wife Ann went shopping with me for bathroom fixtures but because the bathroom is so small nothing seemed like it was going to work out. Tom actually ended up building a linen cabinet, sink base and medicine cabinet with a lighted mirror to fit. The quality of the wood and workmanship is outstanding! I am also hiring them for other projects. They are always very thorough and kept me informed on all aspects of the projects. I recommended them to a friend who has had a hard time finding someone to update her deck. She will not be disappointed."

"We asked Robert Rekuta to create an archway thru a solid wall, connecting the dining room to the front room. Also, we asked him to separate the electrical circuit in the main bath from the master bath and to run some new electrical circuits in the basement. He did a great job on all the requests over the course of 2 full days. Robert did a very meticulous job of removing the old portion of the wall, creating the archway into the front room, putting up new drywall, mudding the area, rerouting an electrical line he discovered in the wall, etc. He mudded, sanded and primed over and over until he got it just perfect! Just what we asked for. Robert shows up on time, had the materials he needed, got right to work, did not waste any time, worked thru lunch and meticulously checked that everything was done perfectly. And, he even cleaned up at the end of each day so that we did not have to clean up after him. Robert is a very talented guy who expertly handled our remodeling, carpentry and electrical issues and he is very careful to do it right! We have other projects planned and we will be contacting Robert Rekuta before we talk to anyone else. And we found his pricing to be VERY reasonable, too.
