"Jim was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product and services he was providing, after agreeing on the color of shingles and a time to come out, the team had everything done and cleaned up within a day. They did great work and were very friendly and did not leave anything laying around after they finished. Would definitely recommend these guys for anyone needing a new roof or repairs"

"The guys showed up and did a great job. They got started right away and answered all of the questions that I had. It has been several years since we have had the house powerwashed. So, of course. the North end of the house was the worst part of the house. But it looks great now. Nice and shiny clean."

"My metal roof chimney fell off and had it patched for time being. Nick was very dependable and explained of what my options were. He was friendly and understanding of my circumstances and got the job done quickly and did a great job. I was impressed since I have had not so good luck with other contractors. If I ever need anymore work to be done, I will certainly call on them. Thank you."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

Yes, clay and concrete tile roofs will keep your home cooler in the summer for two reasons. First, the material has low heat conductivity, so heat transfer from the sunlight and the outside air to your home will be very slow. Additionally, tile roofs have air gaps between the tiles and the roof decking, which helps further insulate your structure from heat gain. Light-colored tile is especially energy-efficient and will minimize how much outside heat transfers into your home.

Condensation can occur on the inside of a roof, but it should always be temporary. It does not necessarily mean there is a roof leak. Condensation happens when the inside and outside of a house are at different temperatures. For instance, if it is hot during the day and then gets very cold at night, the inside of the house will be warmer than the outside and may cause condensation to form on the inside of the attic. This may not be cause for concern, but if it is happening frequently, it should be addressed; otherwise, it could cause roof leaks, compromise the structural integrity of the wood, or allow mold to grow.

The cost to replace a roof typically ranges from $8,700 to $22,000, with a national average of around $9,200. The total cost depends on the size of your roof and whether you need a full replacement or can simply place new shingles over the old ones. A full replacement, which is necessary if the roof is several decades old or has multiple layers, is more expensive. This process involves tearing off the old roofing materials, inspecting and repairing the underlying structure, and then installing the new roof.

A chimney liner is typically easier to install by pushing it down through the chimney with the help of a rope. Depending on your fireplace and the type of liner, installing it by pushing it up through the chimney could work, but operating from the top down is usually the best option.

Concrete tile roofs last for an average of 50 years, but you could see more than that if you’re diligent about repairs, roof inspections, and maintenance to avoid major damages. Concrete tile roofs are prone to cracking, so they may not last as long without needing repairs in areas with extreme weather, especially hail.
