"We had to have mini split systems installed because the layout of our home wouldn’t be ideal for central air. Oak came in with a very professional estimator, up front pricing and financing, and always answered our calls. On the 2 days of install they arrived on time, with a full crew of two truck fully stocked with all of the supplies and equipment needed. They were coordinated, polite, ready, and the most organized operation I have ever seen."

"These guys are great, and I am a tough sell. The energy audit was really informative. I learned a lot about my 1970s home, and definitely got a lot of info that Charles didn't have to take the time to go through with me. After spending a couple hours in my home, Charles made recommendations based on my goals of increasing the energy efficiency of our house. On the days that Charles and his crew were out to complete the work, they were very careful to make sure they covered all areas with plastic (and took extra time to tape them down) so we wouldn't get dust and insulation all over the house. Most importantly, these guys do good work and stand behind it. It has been 2 weeks since the work was completed, and I can already tell that there is a big difference in my home. "Westborn Electric did a fantastic job getting our family room ready for remodeling. They added four can lights, recommending LED, which I prefer anyway. They added two outlets and changed out all the old outlets which were the wrong color and getting very old. They also ran our cable and ethernet line to an outlet. There was a bit of a mixup in that we thought they would terminate the cable and ethernet line in an outlet, but a check of the work order showed that was not ordered. The lesson I learned was to always check the details of the work order. I would not mark them down for that. My wife and I were able to install the cable and ethernet outlet ourselves after the job was finished. Overall, we are very pleased and would recommend them."

"Matt nicely completed a difficult project at our house - a shower to tub conversion that required moving a wall into an area that required specific creative framing to maintain code and appearance.  We had a couple others quote the job and propose solutions to our problem and we chose Matt because of his 1. Excellent AL reviews 2. Prompt, thorough and open communication through the estimation process and 3.  Confident background in framing.
Matt moved the wall, installed the tub, created a dramatic elliptical arch over the new tub alcove and tiled and painted.  Through the whole process he had excellent communication with us.  We had him estimate two other projects in our house before he left as we will hire him again this spring.
The only thing we wish went better was the length of time to start the project.  Let me be very clear here, Matt met the timeline expectations we had agreed on before starting.  It's like eating out at a good restaurant, you have to wait for a table (and if you didn't have to wait you might not be at a good restaurant).  It was about 2 months between estimation and start.
Definitely worth the wait as we'll be hiring him again!
