"James did an amazing job refacing our kitchen cabinets. His craftsmanship and attention to detail are excellent! He added so many extra touches to the detailing and trim work that we didn’t expect and made the entire job even more beautiful than we could have imaged! In addition, he is very kind, thoughtful, professional and a great communicator! Thank you so much James and Extraordinary Kitchens for an outstanding job! Joe and Susie Doa"

Small jobs welcome

"I started out wanting my cabinets refaced, but when Dan came out he recommended painting the cabinets because they were in good condition. I also wanted updated tile backsplash and new pantry doors. Dan did a beautiful job painting the cabinets! They look brand new. He did a great job on the backsplash as well as cutting down/painting & installing the new pantry doors. He took his time, had attention to detail, cleaned up along the way and was professional. I would definitely recommend Dan."

"I recently hired Clean Cut Painting for cabinet refinishing, and I?m honestly impressed with the results. My old kitchen cabinets looked worn and outdated, but their team transformed them completely. The finish is smooth, clean, and looks like brand new cabinets rather than refinished ones. They were professional, on time, and paid attention to every detail. The whole process was hassle-free, and the pricing felt fair for the quality delivered. Highly recommend them if you want to upgrade your cabinets without a full replacement!"

"C &C Finish Carpentry went far and beyond what was expected. Their professionalism was top notch. C&C was hired to paint the exterior and interior as well as remove and install kitchen cabinets. The quality of their work was best in the industry. C&C was on time every day, and never did we hear them complain. There were times where they provided advice and support for other areas of the home, and they did this at no charge. I am already using C&C on another job. I am and will recommend to others."

"The staff was friendly and professional however there appeared to have been a disconnect with the communication between the team which resulted in the kitchen sink not being secured, areas missing caulk and small section of my cabinets chipped off. These issues may stem from me being told that from one team that when the other team comes out, they will take care of it and when that team arrives, them stating "they don't do that". There are teams that work on taking the doors to the warehouse, countertop installers, etc..etc."

Kitchen Cabinet Refacing questions, answered by experts

You can modernize an old-looking closet by just painting it, but beyond that, consider electric elements like recessed or accent lighting. If this is a large and deep closet, you can consider adding an island to the middle or a nice ottoman on a rug. Luxury closets will have even more items, like felt-lined drawers for watches and jewelry, in-wall safes, electronic shoe storage, or a tablet catalog of their items.

Properly maintained, resurfacing typically lasts 5-10 years. Factors like surface usage and exposure to chemicals affect longevity.

Yes, you can replace just your cabinet doors, assuming the structure of the cabinets themselves is sound. Replacing only the doors can save you money when renovating your cabinets. New cabinet doors cost $300 on average, but range from $200 to $400, depending on the material and size. Keep in mind that replacement doors made of materials like fiberboard and engineered wood are less expensive than wooden cabinet doors.

No, in most cases, you do not have to remove your countertops to reface cabinets. Since refacing primarily involves updating the doors, drawer fronts, and exterior surfaces, your existing countertops can usually stay right where they are, making the process quicker and less disruptive. However, if your counters prevent the access needed to remove doors and drawers, they may need to be temporarily removed. It's best to consult with a professional cabinet contractor to assess your specific kitchen layout during an estimate.
