The owner of this company does all of his own work which is great because he is a perfectionist and likes things done the right way! In addition to the great job he did with installing my new floor, he showed up on time and was extremely professional and so kind! I would welcome the man into my home any time. Advanced Flooring DesignGreat Job from start to finish! I was working first 2 days and Joseph kept me updated and informed on progress with texts and pics! He ripped out tile, vinyl, repaired subfloor, leveled subfloor and installed vinyl plank, base board and quarter round for nearly 1200 sq ft.....all done in 3 days!!! Highly recommend!!- angela c.

G & K Floor CoveringThis experience was a complete joy! Glenn came out and measured, was so professional, quote was sent promptly and very competitive. Paul scheduled our job as soon as the materials were available and kept us up to date on everything. Scott took care of our demo and install. He was prompt every day (this was a 4 day project) and had such attention to detail. He is very professional and personable. Superior Home Building LLCJerrod Thomason, the owner of Superior Home Building, did a complete remodel of our house including a new addition. He did the work while we spent the winter in FL. I contacted him based on the outstanding reviews on Angie's list. We did not meet him until the job was well under way. Everything was done by phone, email, and FaceTime. We couldn't have been more pleased with the result. I would recommend Jerod for any job. He was outstanding!! Our job included: new roof, new siding, new gutters & down spouts, replace all windows, new flooring, new lighting and electrical, new plumbing, seal walls and waterproof basement, paint every room and ceiling in the house. Also a complete remodel of the kitchen, bathroom, utility room, closets, and an addition which included a large new bathroom, walk-in closet and storage area. World of Floors®I had to replace flooring in my home due to a water pipe burst into getting in my living room. I looked at a couple of other suppliers, but the service and selection was far better than anywhere else visited. Elvis was so helpful in showing me sample, after sample, after sample... Elvis was so knowledgeable about the types of floors, the quality, and what would look good in my house. The price was better than expected. Jared and his team did an excellent job refinishing the floor in our great room. The former owners had dogs, so there were lots of scratches and damaged areas, but GT Flooring made it smooth as new! We had water leaking from a window while the team was working, and they alerted us to the problem. We were very happy with the work, and Jared is great to do business with!

first off worst experience ever still in a legal battle which they claim they didnt do zero customer help or call backs they miscut my counter tops that i waited 8 weeks for but then tried to install them they dented my diahwasher and fridge scratched and chipped my pantry cause the counter top was to big due to the miscut they dropped the other counter top on the floor wich hit my fridge and scratched it i had to wait another 10 weeks for home depot to send a new company out to put my new counter top in stay far away from this company cause they literally treat costumers like numbers i will see you guys in court

They told me it was a covered repair and to get the work done and submit invoice and they would reimburse us. We got it done and submitted the invoice. After 3 months of constant follow up they covered part of the parts charge and none of the labor. Then, following up again, they responded with, WE ARE CLOSING THE BUSINESS.

Horrible. I had to argue to get them to fix a few things due to poor installation, refused to fix the rest. The owner said the work was "perfect", photos are attached judge for yourself. The grout was mixed poorly and now it has efflorescence and looks chalky, he denied that was the case but the grout company clearly states this happens and why here [*** Link removed ***]

I am local builder that uses local employees and sub contractors. I was trained union journeyman carpenter in the Detroit area and moved back to the northern area after about ten years in the city. My company can handle commercial jobs as well as new homes or additions,pole barns, etc. I am also green certified builder and was trained recently as a energy analyst

He suggested completely replacing the roof instead of trying to locate the leak and patching it. We agreed as the roof was probably over 15 years old. We had no way to know exactly as this house was newly purchased and the previous owner did not know either (she was a divorcee). Next rain after the roof replacement, within a span of weeks, we realized the leak was still there. Called him and he stated he isn't in the area and that he will stop by next time there is rain and he is in the area. Needless to say that never happened. He continued to delay and postpone until his labor warranty expired (in his case that's 1 year) at which point he denied any responsibility. At this point the only potential recourse left was the manufacturer warranty on the shingles themselves. I don't know how far that would have gotten us and we will never know since the contractor failed to give us any warranty paperwork for the shingles though we repeatedly asked him for it. Whether we needed it or not we indeed have a new roof but the leak, which was the original task, never got fixed. We are now looking for somebody else to fix it. My recommendation: if you are forced to use him (contractor work is hard to find at the moment) make sure you keep a tight leash and are all buttoned up before you sign that last check to him. He is not coming back for anything once that's done.

Terribly. I made a large deposit upon order of the cabinets and flooring. Wood was delivered to my home for acclimating. We were doing our own demolition, so I stayed in close contact with Bodamer Bros to stay abreast of the cabinet delivery. We did not want to do demolition too early and be without a kitchen over long. I was told that everything was progressing on schedule. My last contact prior to delivery date was the week prior, when I was assured that the cabinets were ready to ship. We proceeded with demolition. Cabinets were to be delivered on Monday with installation to begin at that time, too. But - on Saturday, just 2 days prior to delivery date - I received a phone call. Cabinets were delayed - INDEFINITELY. What? Why? On further questioning, I learned that the manufacturer would not release the cabinets because Bodamer was in extreme arrears in their payments to the manufacturer. Mr. Bodamer did not know when he would bring the account current, so could not say when the cabinets would be delivered. And, no, he could not refund my deposit. He had no money. I was livid. I went into the store to chat with him. He threatened to call the police to remove me from the premises, as he had nothing more to say to me, and he could not refund my money. There were no other customers in the shop, just me and my sister, who came as moral support and as a witness to what was being said. Ultimately, the cabinets were delivered. My salesperson installed them at no charge, and did a fairly good job, though not perfect. He was a salesperson, not an installer. The wood floors were installed by "professionals" hired by Bodamer. A very poor installation. I still have many, many issues with the floors. I suspect I was given substandard wood, and the installers did very poor work. There are so many gaps between boards, both horizontally and vertically. Extremely unhappy with the floors. I was originally supposed to have all this work done in mid-June, but it was not completed until nearly the end of October. I was without a kitchen that entire time. Delays can be expected in many remodeling projects, but since I was in such close contact and was told that the cabinets had been shipped and we were on schedule, only to learn that it was a complete deception, I was understandably upset. I rated a D for quality because the cabinet quality is actually pretty nice, but the floors are horrible. As you'll see in the pics, some gaps are so wide that they extended past the tongue and groove. I gave pricing a D as well, because I certainly overpaid for the quality of work and customer service I received, Every other experience is rated an F. I could never recommend this company to anyone, for any purpose. Some people have said that Dan Bodamer is a very nice man. I did not see this side of him. He was rude, condescending and combative, but most of all, deceitful. Terrible experience that still hurts.

Our mother had covered the original wood floors with indoor/outdoor carpeting in the 60's (and then carpeted several times more over the years). When we pulled the old carpet back to see what we had, the rubber adhesive was everywhere! Mr. Stallard removed the carpet and pad, sanded the old glue and finish, and gave the floor 4 coats of matt sealant/finish. He also removed and replaced the larger pieces of furniture and appliances and installed felt pads on the furniture ... a nice plus. We expected a lot of dust from the job, but when we returned home, the place was spotless and the floors were absolutely beautiful. Mr. Stallard did a superb job!
